All the Miami media is saying that Butler has played his last game as a Heat. They are saying that the players association won't allow him to be suspended without pay for the remainder of the season so it will basically force Miami's hand to move him if they want to get anything at all.

Yeah, I don’t see him playing another minute with Miami. He can’t be too popular in the locker room. He pulls the same crap wherever he goes.

Beal likely isn’t going anywhere as rumors are nobody really wants his contract it’s so bad. No contender is going to take him.

I am hoping they can move Nurk with a pick or two and get another FC piece in here and maybe hold onto one.

Adding more size looks like the preferable option anyway. The Suns have talent, now let's add some beef.

I didn't want the Suns to trade all three of their first round picks as rumored.

Can't blame him. You get a NTC for the exact purpose of avoiding terrible franchises and ownership like the Bulls.

The Jordan years really hid how inept the Bulls are ran. In the 18 seasons they played prior to drafting Jordan and the 26 they have played since he retired they've only won 7 playoff series.

The Suns might be wise to look at other trade options, besides Beal. Overall, he has handled this matter well.

The NTC was a huge factor in helping the Suns get Beal so it was not an unknown.

Gambo said he CONFIRMED that the report Beal is not willing to waive his NTC for Chicago is false. Evidently, he never said that.

The Heat and Warriors are in active trade discussions related to Jimmy Butler, per
@ShamsCharania.Golden State would need to include Andrew Wiggins in order to help reach Butler’s $48.7 million salary.
The other version out there right now, is it's a 3 team trade with GS, Phoenix and Miami.

Any idea of the specifics?

Personally, if we could ever get and keep Beal completely healthy, I'd prefer him over Butler or the names I've heard from the Warriors but a healthy Beal is just a fantasy. And I can't think of anyone the Warriors would be willing to give us that makes us better so I guess Butler is the best we can hope for out of those trade partners. If his head is on straight and he can stay healthy he might help us out but I'm going to be so pissed if Dunn is part of the deal.

Do you guys really think that Ishbia will let the Suns bottom out by 2031? He'll just spend money and at worst Suns will be mediocre. I can't imagine 2031 pick will be a top-five pick.
I don’t think it’s his choice. A player has to agree to sign with your team, and nobody any good wants to sign to a bad team, which we will certainly be.

I don’t buy it. Not in this league. Money talks in the NBA. All you need is to get one guy or make one trade. Also, you don’t think players know that Isbia will pay? That likely the only reason Bulter wants to be here.

The really good players will have all kinds of teams wanting to pay them, those guys are not options for bad teams... which we will be.

You are painting a picture where we are the team that signs dudes like Kyle Kuzma and Jerami Grant 40 million a year.

And we won't be able to swing a meaningful trade for top talent for a long long time because of our total lack of assets, this we're already seeing. We've got a star going above and beyond to poison his relationship with his team to force his way here and it doesn't matter because the heat would be better off waiving him than taking the junk we can offer.
