Oh, he's around...
Will be taking time off the ol' board to get back into work. We're getting busy. Then yesterday me and birdie went to talk to the Westwood High Futures Club about architecture. Pretty fun.
Speaking of Ahwatukee, on Sunday went to look at an old house in the Evergreen historic district in Mesa. 1948, nice big lot, old growth trees, original stack-bond brick, a live chicken, a pink toilet (yeah, that's right), room for expansion, room for a shop for a burgeoning concrete countertop business. I think the lady that lives there thinks it's pretty sharp. Eh, I think it's more like 15K away from being damn freakin stylin. But she shared some of her Natural Lights with us while we looked at it, so that's always a plus. It's about the closest thing to the neighborhood clunker, and that's kind of what we're looking for if the floor plan has enough potential. It looks like the plan was designed for expansion, which if they did in fact design that into the brick perimeter in 1948, that would be pretty cool.
Ahwatukee's pretty nice overall. It has it's pros and cons, but in our particular case it's simply a means to an end.
