I thought that Zarco was going to become a solid part of the rotation when he came back.

But his playing time has been spotty. In fact, with Amare out, CJ has lept over him and moved into the starting lineup.

Is it just the Suns tendency to start three Guards or is there something wrong with Zarco?

'Any ideas?

His shot is really stuggling since he came off the IR. It seems like he's still affected by his injury. He got some minutes against the T-Wolves ysterday and displayed excellent court vision and driving ability once he gets his shot back I'm sure he'll get more minutes.

He seems very tentative right now. We need to remember he did not go through training camp and was only rounding into shape when he hurt his wrist. It hurts his offense and he has a long way to go before he is comfortable with the Suns defensive schemes.

He's a great talent but everyone will have to be patient. :-(

Zarko did have a really nice dunk against Minnesota. Minny went to a zone and Zarko ran baseline past a screen and then curled into the lane then caught the ball and went up strong for a 2 handed jam. His outside shot isn't falling at all though. When he gets in the game he should concentrate on attacking the basket until he gets some rythmn back into his jumper.

Actually, everybody is playing off him because they know that.

I wouldn't expect to see him playing well until next year. Broken wrists are killers to shooters. It takes a long time to get the flexability back in the wrist and then he will have to work on getting his shot back. Expect him to get better as the year goes on but I wouldn't look for him to contribute significantly until next year.

I actually was referring to him moving without the ball to attack the basket. If he catches it on the perimeter then the defenders are definately going to back off of him.

He threw a killer lob to Marion.

The lob play is my favorite. Since Marbury can't throw a descent lob to save his life there havn't been many in a while.

One time Stephon tried and it was so close to the basket Shawn was called for goal tending.

I think we may be seeing Zarko inbounding the ball late in game. Remember the lob Penny had to Marion at the end of the Sonics game. Zarko could throw that over just about anyone. JJ is pretty decent when it comes to lobs too.
