I could go

with that. I spoke with someone else on the team and they said that if he gets the mental aspect (calling plays etc.)of the game he'll be great.

Young guy - Dockett - He is pro bowl bound.

Veteran - Macklin - He is going to be pushed into the #1 CB role and excell.

Dockett is an easy pick. Was right on the verge of getting national attention last year before he got dinged up.

One interesting guess would be Wilson, who was on his way to the pro bowl about half way through the season but then faded. Can he sustain it for a whole year?

How about Warner having a "break out" year? Tough to tell, but you know he has he talent.

My pick will be another odds-on favorite. I'll say Fitz will have 10 touchdown catches for 2005.

Well, if you're talking about players that will be sitting at home all season playing "breakout" on their old Atari, my vote goes to Wendell Bryant.

wendell could be a breakout guy (in a good way) he has the physical tools he just need to pull his head out. denny is great at pulling heads out, and rumor has it that wendall was at camp working out before he had to be, that's a huge improvement.

OK i will make a harder one.

Our top 3 picks from the 2004 draft (Fitz, Dockett, and Dansby) will all be in the pro bowl, and Step will be an alternate. :D

Warner

He will get comeback player of the year. Fitz, Boldin and Johnson will make it happen for him. Our line will play better than expected with less talent but more unity as a whole and our HB will have a decent season compared to a below average one regardless if it's Shipp, Hambrick, Henry or a young stud.

Big becomes consitently dominant because of an improved line around him and legit RB (TBD).

Which Cardinal will have a breakout season? David Eckstein, he'll make Redbird fans forget about Edgar Renteria. Oops, wrong Cardinal.

Let's go with Bryant Johnson!

Anquan Boldin

He has had one good season, his rookie season.

I read several posts questioning his knees or his ability to perform at his rookie level consistantly.

I pick Anquan to come back (particularly with Warner hitting him in stride) and have a HUGE year. He will break-out and enter the WR elite of the NFL.

I'm going with Warner as well. He will break out of his two year funk and bring us to the promised land.

This is Big's chance to shine, he is in his natural spot and finally has a good O-Line coach.

Our 5th round pick this year,Maurice Clarett. He steps in as an immediate starter and runs for 1450 yards and 13 TD's. Actually my choice to break out is Fitz. He'll see alot of balls this year from an accurate QB.

I really want to see how Fitzgerald does this fall since he was limited last year by that high ankle sprain and still had 58 catches for 780 yds and 8 TD's.

I am actually hoping there will be three major breakouts... The first being Kurt Warner, I have always routed for him even when he was with the Rams, now that he is ours it makes it all the better...

Naturally if Kurt has a great year then it probably goes without saying that Quan and Fitz will also has stellar seasons as well... I can't wait... Comeback year for one, follow up healthy year for another and a huge year for a second year guy... I mean what defense is going to have enough secondary depth to cover 2 great recievers when the ball is being delivered properly?

Warner
Boldin
Fitzgerald

Bryant Johnson I think is going to have the huge year. Warner is going to help him big time with the long ball. Expect to see 17-20 ypc and 8-10 TDs from him.

Thats not a bad pick. A little less likely to shine than fitz though.

Don't discount BJs role in the 05' offense even though he's the #3 behind a couple of stars. He needs to have a good year if we're really going to make it to the playoffs.

Jimmy Hoffa will have a break out year as they dig up the meadowlands to build the new stadium in New York.
