That's a tough question. Probably Hall, but I can see a solid case being made for all three.

Faneca would really complete the line, IMO. But my only hesitation in selecting him as my #1 choice is his age.

Suggs fills a serious need as we try to stockpile guys for a 3-4 defense.

But, I think the intersection of need, youth and skill comes in Hall.

Agreed. I just don't think the need for pass rush is as great as our need for a guy that can cover.

Hall will make Green and Hood better, too. Neither one of those guys has the chops to cover a true #1 WR.

Like I said, I can see a solid argument for all positions. I just think Hall is the best choice of the 3.

I really think we will get Faneca. I would like to trade Fitz for either Lee Evans or that CB from the Raiders (sorry, I am not even going to attempt to spell that name). That said, i defintiely would be upset over getting a guy like Hall (as long as we get Faneca too).

Calling Joeshmoe

Can we afford both Faneca and Hall?

As much as Pariah hates when I agree with him, I would have to say Hall as well.

Hall is not only a tool but he sucks as well. The most burned for TD's CB in the league.

The kid hasnt done anything in this league but talk smack to other WR's. Him talking smack is the only reason why people think he is good because it isnt his performance against those WR's or his production.

If I had to pick from that list of 3 it would Faneca becuase I think Wells is without question the weakest link on our OL. We could get by with Pace, Berry, Okeafer, draftee at the OLB spots.

As for being able to get them under our cap next offseason, without question we could get all three of them under the cap very easily.

If we are going to play a true 3-4, I'd say Suggs.

I have to say I am a little unimpressed with Suggs right now, mostly this season.

This season he is on pace to have his lowest total in Tackles, Sacks, FF, and FR since he became a full time starter in the league in 2004. He hasnt had double digit sacks in 3 years. This year he only has 20 tackles, 3 sacks, 0 FF, and 0 FR. For Comparison Berry has 17 tackles, 2 sacks, 0 FF, and 1 FR. Suggs last 3 years has been on the same level as Okeafer. Also Suggs isnt known to have a lot of tackles for loss either, just above average.

I have said it since we passed on him and every year less people ridicule me for it. SUGG IS NOT THAT GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! I will take Pace over him any day of the week.

Anyone who thinks it makes you great to get ten sacks in a season when you play on a D that features Lewis, Adalius Thomas, Gregg, Bart Scott, McAllister, Reed and Trevor Price among others needs to get their head checked out. Suggs rarely comes in for plays when the oppenent may run and has never been doubled in his entire career with the Ravens. He is decent to slightly-above-average pass rusher and nothing else.

I live in an area where I get to see every Raven's game and all of my friends are Raven's fans. You people on this board think higher of Terrell than his own mother. i think you guys just want to find any reason to hate on Graves. The bottom line is that the great down was a GREAT MOVE BY RG!!!!!!!!!!!!

What are you talking about? Most people are selecting Faneca and Hall.
What are you talking about? How many threads have been on this board condemning Graves for that move? Every year I get sick listening to people on here rant and rave about the great Terrell Suggs. Just because many of them have quieted down this season with the realization of how wrong they have been doesn't mean I have to.

It WAS the wrong move that year. Plain and simple.

You're comment isn't made in a vacuum. You made it here. In a thread where Suggs in hardly mentioned and the draft wasn't mentioned at all.

But, if the ravings about Suggs have indeed quieted down, then your comment still doesn't make any sense because people don't think highly of him but likely still care for their mother.

if Graves actually used those picks to make the team better, you'd have a point, but just because Pace has looked okay for a handful of games in his fifth year, it doesn't mean for the overwhelming majority of his and BJ's career they weren't and haven't been complete wastes of space who have helped keep us perpetually at 4-5 wins.
