White Collar is about the unlikely partnership of a con artist and an FBI agent who have been playing cat and mouse for years. Neal Caffrey (Matt Bomer), a charming criminal mastermind, is finally caught by his nemesis, FBI Agent Peter Stokes (Tim DeKay). When Neal escapes from a maximum-security prison to find his lost love, Peter nabs him once again. Rather than returning to jail, Neal suggests an alternate plan: he'll provide his criminal expertise to assist the Feds in catching other elusive criminals. Initially wary, Peter quickly finds that Neal provides insight and intuition that can't be found on the right side of the law.

Tiffani Thiessen and Willie Garson co-star on the series, which will be filmed on location in New York. Filming of the additional 13 ordered episodes, following the pilot, began in August of 2009 in New York. The Pilot is set to air on USA on October 23rd, 2009.

Seems wierd in the same tweet he would mention White Collar season 2 and then congratulate the Lost cast and crew.

Episode 1.07: Free Fall

Peter (Burke) is talking to Neal (Caffrey), who has been arrested as a suspect in a diamond heist, when he is interrupted by a guard saying that Mr. Caffrey's lawyer wished to speak to him. Peter turns and says to Neal's mysterious friend, Mozzie, "You're a lawyer?" Mozzie says "You can check my University of Phoenix online degree. Go Cardinals! Now, I'd like to speak to my client, alone."

My wife and I just started watching and we love this show. How can Burn Notice be rted higher than this? I like Burn Notice, but it is a little "A-Team-ish."

That was great, I laughed pretty hard at at that. Thought it was such a perfect line

I love this show -- yes, it is better than Burn Notice (which I like but find some of the characters have gotten tiresome... well, OK, I just can't stand Fee or his Mom, and there's no possibility for any character development anywhere.)

White Collar 2nd season got off to a good start. It's one of the best-written of the 'criminal caper' type shows, IMO. Neil Cafferty is really an appealing character, and the interplay with Peter Burke is handled with a nice mix of mutual mistrust, reluctant affection, and admiration.

I like this show quite a bit too although I still love Burn Notice. I was getting a little tired of the whole "chase the girlfriend" arc but the show has really improved since they wrapped that up. The lead character was too smart to justify the stupidity he showed anytime his girlfriend was involved. I really like Willie Garson's role as Mozzie, he adds a nice touch.

As for Burn Notice, I like Fee but the mom has always bugged me. My wife laughs at her antics but I just want to throw something at her (the mom, never the wife - she feeds me too well). I like her when she's not being whiney or manipulative but that doesn't happen often.

Glad to hear that you guys are excited for White Collar, it's wonderful to hear that our shows are picking up some devoted fans.

On behalf of the network, I'd love to hear your thoughts on all the USA shows, especially that Tuesday block with White Collar and our new series, Covert Affairs!

Cheeky, that.

I had a friend out from Ohio last week and completely hooked him on the past year's DVR'ed White Collar. He noted approvingly that there is no other TV show that would pull off a joke with Galileo as the punch line.

WC could play out Caffrey's transient PTSD (the shaky hand affects his forgery, maybe the odd flashback or sleep problems) a little more. He can't just get over what happened with Kate so fast, despite that polished shell, but also won't admit how it's still affecting him. And I hope they don't go too fast and too far into his troubled childhood, yada yada. Just little innuendos (like the evasive exchange with Burke about college) is plenty.

That's a very good point. The running speculation seems to be that Kate is still alive and may make a return, which would totally throw off Neal's mental state. Obviously, we're not sharing any spoiler here, but it's food for thought - and probably the most widely held belief about this season.

Check the official White Collar site if you missed last night's ep, too!

I would be unhappy to see Kate back in the picture, personally. She was a bad match and there was no hint of chemistry.

What is up with the Tiffani Thiessen scenes this season. They are all just throw away scenes sitting at a table in front of a green screen. Its like they are forced to put her in each episode and forced the scenes into the plot. I think she was pregnant during those episodes, but really that's the most creative idea they had. I find it highly annoying. End of Rant, I still like the show.

Joeshmo, that is indeed correct, Tiffani was pregnant during those scenes and still wanted to be working (and we needed her for the role), but she wasn't pregnant in the plot. It was the best of both worlds and we hope it wasn't too distracting.

Remember, another Tuesday block of mystery and espionage is only a few days away with White Collar and Covert Affairs.

I am SO happy WC is back on with new episodes again. No question -- much as I like some other shows, this is definitely my favorite series anywhere on TV.

This series just keeps getting better ever since they put the big Kate conspiracy in the rear window. Love the show.
