Haley was clearly the reason why we were good.

Pack your bags and leave.

Sincerely,

-Overdramatic Cards fan.

No OC, no DC, failure to successfully establish a run game, secondary still blows.

We have the same problems we did when Whiz got here.

People love simple answers.
When one isn't presented to them they'll reach for whatever's convenient.
When they're mad they'll lash out at it.
All I can say is I love Shmz's tongue-in-cheek sign off.

I think you're kidding here....or at least I think you are, satirizing some of the ridiculous fans ignoring the fact that the problems with this team won't be easy to fix and can't all be laid on the lap of Ken Whisenhunt.

Whisenhunt coached the best two Cardinals teams of all time (at least during the Super Bowl era). I'll have a bit more patience with the guy.

Thank you.. It seems like folks are so ready to jump on the guy.. I remember some of these same guys giving McGinnis 3 chances.. I gotta wonder now about their football knowledge..

Yup.. I said it.. I question all you Whis haters football knowledge..

i agree in having some more patience with him. obviously there is going to be a lot of organisational changes after this season but whiz will be back. if the cards blow again next year i think its time he gets canned, not because he has had two bad seasons back to back, but because it should be painfully obvious that the cardinals success was purely on the shoulders of a kurt warner. i think whiz could show more emotion though, i rarely ever see him get psycho out there, and if my team was 3-9 and laid down every sunday, i would certainly be going ape **** on someone till i lit a fire under the teams ass.

Chad its because of Kurt Warner
Without whiz there is no Warner. Alot of people failed to realize that. I understand warner is a great Qb but if whiz never gave Warner a chance he wouldn't have been considered great.

And heres the thing with that too.. Why was Warner on this roster for 2 years before Whis came and he sucked it up?

Success is about all the stars aligning. Warner fit Whiz's system.

Our most talented players were all playing for big contracts giving them extra incentive to work their hearts out (Boldin, Dansby, Dockett, ADub especially).

Our division was abysmal. 9-7 wouldn't have made the playoffs in any other division the SB year.

Change any one of these factors and we probably don't go to the big game.

I'm not calling for Whiz to be fired--I don't see a lot of people on here who are--but the honeymoon period for Coach is DEFINITELY over. Changes need to be made.

Whether Whis was given too much power too soon by the front office is a discussion we can have, but he created this mess for himself; I don't think that Graves came up to Whis and said, "I have this crazy idea--let's cut our former Top 10 QB at the end of training camp. Also, don't you think Joey Porter has a lot left in the tank?"

With the Cards, you never know. They may figure it's all good except they don't have the right players. Jeezus, I'll just flip out if some heads in the coaching staff don't roll

Was it whiz, that didn't pay boldin or dansby. Was it whiz that chose Anderson instead of bulger. If you want to be mad at someone be mad at these cheap ass owners and ******* general manager. Whiz could only do so much with so little.

Yes it whiz who wanted Anderson! Bulged was not even available at the time. This mess is on whiz there is enough talent on this team to be winning more than we have! We are losing because of terrible coaching and decisions made by our terrible staff and HC currently!

I'm with you Gee.

I think Whiz took basically an average team to the Superbowl. Then he took this team to the playoffs again and won yet another playoff game. Many fans are so frustrated they cannot see straight. They got so used to winning with Whiz they were blinded by the fact that this was destined to be a rebuilding year.

We should have only 2 wins. We should have lost the Raider game also.

MCD, I agree with you that this wasn't going to be a 10-win season. But did you really think that a "rebuilding year" was going to be MAYBE 4 wins? Whis clearly doesn't think that this group is coming along and pulling it together. If anything, this team is worse now than it was at the beginning of the season.

And what are we building? We're probably going to be re-shuffling the OL again and our defense needs to replace 3 linebackers in the offseason. That's before the quarterback situation. So what is rebuilt? What reason do we have to believe that the 2011 version of the Arizona Cardinals are going to be improved from the 2010 version?

Yes, Whiz took Denny Green's players to the Super Bowl. But Denny Green's players have been replaced by Pittsburgh washouts who are all over 30. What is being built here in the desert? Why should we have faith that this coach and organization can re-build it?

Please give us a break with this, you have zero knowledge of what happened so don't pretend you do

Boldin left because he was pissed not because of pay. He got pissed because his agrent tried to game the Cardinals, ie they gave Q a new contract which he loved, then Drew [Spawn of the devil] R got him to bitch about it to get another one. In order to make himself feel righteous he blamed the Cardinals.

Dansby left but iirc we offered him a good deal as well
