If your the Cardinals and the staff is intent on acquiring a QB in this draft regardless of this classes' quality, which three would you target and who is your wild card late pick? Do not complicate worrying about where they would be selected, just who are your three knowing we do not start drafting till pick seven. I still have Wilson on top of my list, then Landry Jones and one I thought I would never EVER put on this list and it is Barkley (after looking at this marginal class of QBs, and what the professionals think about him...we really need to realize Barkley cannot be blamed for Leinart LOL). My wild card is Sorensen. Duckjake is not the only one who knows who this kid is, so do the scouts and yet no one really is talking about him :) http://www.optimumscouting.com/draf...-brad-sorensen-quarterback-southern-utah.html

I'm not sure there are 3 that I like in this class. The Senior Bowl put some doubt in my feeling towards my two favorite guys in Nassib and Wilson. Neither were as good down the field as I would want in a 1st or 2nd round pick, especially in a system which places such a priority on this.

Who knows, Tyler Bray might be the best option for us which is scary because he has some maturity concerns.

Ugh. Right now, I may wait until the 3rd or 4th rounds and take a flier on who is left if I wanted some fresh blood to develop. It is tough because it is hard to have hope when you are as lacking at the QB position as our team is, but if we take a guy high, we will probably be passing up a pretty good player to do so.

I get it guys...I understand the pickings are slim to none. I was just putting it out there because I think there is a good chance we are going to draft a QB, yes we probably will. How can we be so serious about a position we stink at and a draft class which smells and still endure. Give me the three which you feel smell the least lol

OK...if you put it that way.

Geno Smith of course but he'll be probably be long gone at 7.

Wilson or Glennon in the later rounds...again if they're there.

One who came out early...Tyler Bray from Tennessee...kid has a rocket launcher...but so did Derek Anderson.

Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, Tyler Wilson

...Not that I'm particularly confident in any of those choices. Smith the most, and then I think Barkley has the tools in the right scenario. Wilson's kind of just, there. The Senior Bowl did a lot to strip my confidence in the field.

This is the way I see it. Though this QB class really stinks. This is the possible reality... there are guys in this draft who can certainly stay less on the injured list than Kolb and absolutely are still better than Skelton and Lindley. A matter of fact, I will say with confidence that Wilson, Jones and Barkley are better than Helter Skelter and Friendly Lindley. And, thanks Indy for offering up you opinion which I do value, I did not put Geno there because like you I feel some team will snag him before our pick.

I just don't see the Cards going after damaged goods. I think they've learned their lesson from Beanie for the time being.

Maybe Geno Smith (I need to see more). But none of the others in the first 2 rounds.

From Round 3 on down: L Jones, Manuel, Glennon.

I can't see any worth our 7th pick. Just no sure thing out there. I could get excited and hopeful if we could move up to the rear end of round 1 if he fell that far, say passed 25 or so. If we addressed our OL with 7 and then package some picks to grab him in the late twenties. Or trade back for a mid and a later round 1 and address our OL still and take him with either of the 1st rounders.

That would work for me. Other than him however, we just need to restructure Kolb and see if he can perform and stay healthy, continue to develop our QB drafted last year, and pick up a FA qb who can fill in when Kolb goes down again, if he does. It would be interesting to see Kolb and Smith compete for the starting job this fall.

The question was, name your three QBs in the draft, regardless if you like this class or not. It is not a great or even average class, so name your three least craptastic QBs without worrying so much about what round as was stated in the question :)

Well, why not? We are throwing out mocks and have not even had the combine yet because the Cardinals are not playing on Sunday anytime soon and it is something to pass the time. I think there is a good chance we will draft a guy at QB regardless of what round and at the least there are upgrades in this draft compared to Skelton and Lindley (our situation is that dire). This board has a lot of people whose talent observation is pretty good. I think it would be interesting to see where those individuals, as yourself, might select if they had to.

None. I don't waste a pick on any of them. Yes, I know we suck at QB and need to draft one. But, you don't fix a mistake by making another one.

Fix the damn line, this is a great oline draft. Then, draft one next year.

What a year to need a QB. Really no one stands out head and shoulders above the others. At the same time I could see a few different quarterbacks achieve success under the correct team/scheme/scenario.

Tyler Bray. What a cannon for an arm this guy has. While his mechanics look horrific, his arm allows him to make deep throws that most quarterbacks would need to wind up to throw. His raw arm ability is probably the best in the draft. His accuracy is below average, but a lot of those throws he is completely out of position to make. I feel Bray has the highest ceiling of any of the QBs this year. Also he has good size. Bray will need a talented Quarterbacks coach that has a plan for him.

EJ Manuel. Has some real touch on the deep ball. Also the speed and ability to run an option-read offense or at least force the other team to prepare for. He really looks the part at 6-5 237 as well. He is my guess for the QB-that-gets-picked-way-too-early, just like his old teammate Christian Ponder. I really didnt see a lot of him reading the defense (at least correctly) and he was in trouble when the defenses knew he had to pass.

Matt Scott. Just liked this guy's toughness. He played some amazing QB this year at Arizona. Largely because of his efforts they beat USC and took Stanford to OT. Probably never an NFL-starter, he seems like a player could stick around at backup QB for a few years. I think he would be a better 5th-7th round pick than Skelton or Lindley.

Geno Smith...I understand why he didnt compete at the Senior Bowl, but his stock would have risen considerably next to that slop of QB's out there.

He is head-and-shoulders above these other guys.

1. Geno Smith
I realy think everyone on this board underrates him a lot. If Reid or Arians takes him they will turn him into a franchise QB. IMO

2. EJ Manuel
It realy comes down to everyone else sucking besides Geno. So I see EJ with the most upside, size, speed, Good arm and accuracy is jus as good if not better than Glennon, Wilson, Bray, or Nassib

3. Matt Barkley
If he could throw a better deep ball he would be 2nd, but he is much more fit for a WCO,
I think he would be good in Reids system n I hope his stock realy jumps up so he will be taken 1st so Smith could maybe fall to 7. Seriously doubt that scenario tho.

Cool, if he is head and shoulders above the others, who are your other two guys. Who is your elbow and knee pick LOL
