Honorable mention:
Eric Dickerson.
I loved that guy.
And I hated Lawrence Taylor, but dang he was crazy good.

Agreed on Fearsome Foursome - what an incredibly talented group of defensive linemen. Also agree with the episode of A Football Life, focused on the FF. Wonderful show! When I watch the old clips of NFL film, I miss some aspects of what the game used to be...Fearsome Foursome as a Unit. I can't list Deacon without the others. He wouldn't want that either, so:
Deacon Jones
Lamar Lundy
Merlin Olsen
Rosey Grier
Joe Namath
(I can HIGHLY recommend the "The Fearsome Foursome - A Football Life". It was done by George Allen's daughter and she did a great job of showing who they were as teammates and men and what that era was like. They were something very special on and off the field.)
OJ was the real deal. First to gain 2k in a season (14 games). That sweep with McKenzie leading was something else.
