I was running it by a few folks over here and they liked the "Big Bang" for a nickname. It might surface sometime soon.

I kind of liked the "Boldin the Beautiful" (that's bold and...before anyone jumps on the Plummer wet dreams stories).

I really thing "The Quan" is the way to keep him in AZ. The association will always go back to Rod Tidwell that great Cards WR and Jerry McQuires lone client. BTW, we will be "Showing him the money" at some point or some other team will.

Anquan "Big Bang" Boldin is a very good nickname. I have been using it ( obviously without permission) here in Gerogia and it has caught on quickly. I hope it sticks.

Since we came up with the nickname, do we get to hang out with him for a day in his magic flying castle? You know, the one way up in the sky that makes all the rainbows.

That's why I said we should call him the Ambassador. I have actually grown to love Big Bang, though. I found myself yelling that at the last Cardinals preseason game. Maybe we should just start making signs with Big Bang Boldin on them. That way we don't really give him a choice as to what his nickname is.

Do it! Then camp out against the railing before the game when he comes out for warm-ups!

Ooooh, we're camping! Who's bringing the smores?

Hey Jim O, does Anquan know about his following here? I'm curious what his reaction is/would be to the thread listing all of his accomplishments.

Not yet...but after going through the "I hear a lot about..." thread last night, I feel the need to ask him for his email so I can send him the link.

I laughed my ass off at some of those.

Thanks, but you still haven't answered my question about the smores. :moon:

I like this one, but in more of a "Sunday Night Countdown" kind of way. Did anyone watch last week, by the way, and see if Berman (whom I hate, but still like the "Fastest three Minutes..." thing) had a name for Boldin yet?

I like "Q", and I'm learning to like "Big Bang".

It sounds good in theory, but I don't think that I've ever been able to make it inside the stadium for warm-ups. Tailgating pulls rank on this one. It's OK, Anquan would understand. I'll still bring a sign if I can get off my lazy ass and make one.
