I personally hope they move up and take (DE)Jarron Gilbert even though I have (ILB)Jasper Brinkley as my third round pick. Another possibility is (OC)Jonathon Luigs. More defensive possibilities could be (DE)Brandon Long and (OLB)Zach Follet but they might be there in the 4th round.

I just hope they go BPA other than QB, WR, & RB

I wonder what's going on with Dansby. I can see us taking Ellerbe if the FO thinks they can't re-sign him.

There are still plenty of very good players left on the board. There are about 10-15 players that could have been taken in round 2 without much criticism.

There is quality on the board, but it will be gone before the Cards pick

Sidbury by a mile. Would be great coming off the edge opposite Brown. In a couple of years who knows we may have our Lamar Woodley/James Harrison combo.

Not necessarily. Their was quite a run on surprising picks in round 2 and it's not out of the question that it could happen again.

Maybe. If we feel that there is not a player that could be a viable contributor on offense or defense I wouldn't have a problem going after a top flight return man.

Wells bolsters our offense, Brown gives us an edge rusher, and someone to return punts and/or kicks would upgrade our special teams.

This team is close enough that I want guys that can help put us over the top next year.

I think our next biggest need is at Center, so I hope either Jonathon Luigs or Antoine Caldwell are available.

Let me add on (OLB)Marcus Freeman. I also want to include Shanes choice, (OLB)Jason Williams.

Sidbury, Michael Johnson, Jarron Gilbert, Tyrone McKenzie, Rashad Johnson..any of those guys would be good picks for our third rounder.

For the rest of day 2...

There are a bunch of "project" type OLBs & DEs available too...guys like Zach Follett, Victor Butler, Jason Williams, Nic Harris, Brandon Williams, Michael Bennett, Kyle Moore. All guys who probably wouldn't contribute much outside of special teams in year one but could develop in to starters.

For return Specialists there are Mike Thomas and Johnny Knox

I want Follet in the 4th as I think he would really bolster our special teams. He's a fierce tackler. How about OT Augustus Parrish in the 5th? I pick Brice McCain as a kick returner in the 6th. You want a solid blocking FB? Brannan Southerland in the 7th.

Good call from Shane's pick.

Dont want to touch Jarron Gilbert.

My current top 20 left on my board -

DE/LB - Michael Johnson
DE/LB - Lawrence Sidbury
DE/LB - Brandon Williams
LB - Jason Williams
LB - Scott McKillop
LB - Jasper Brinkley
LB - Marcus Freeman
TE - Shawn Nelson
TE - Jared Cook
TE - James Casey
TE - Cornelius Ingram
TE - Travis Beckum
TE - Chase Coffman
OT - Jamon Merideth
OG - Duke Robinson
C - Antione Caldwell
DT/DE - Alex Magee
DT - Roy Miller
DT - Dorell Scott
S - Rashad Johnson

I would take any one of these guys but my favorites are Jason Williams, MJ (risk is way lower in the 3rd), Sidbury, Ingram, Magee, Miller, and Johnson.

The deepest position at this point is TE. We don't have any that are particularly good. I think this problem solves itself.
