This should have been the first year with mostly his players in place. I think a non pandemic year would have been interesting to see how it played out.
It seems that he has raised the level of recruit, now it is up to his guys to coach and scheme them up. Given how this season had been a washout I am not sure we can take anything from a flunky loss to USC and a post Covid shutdown to UCLA.
