Sixth-seeded Iowa (23-10, 10-8 Big Ten) cruised to a 92-57 win over No. 11 seed Murray State on Saturday from the Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, Okla. in its first-round NCAA Tournament game.
Among the key takeaways from Iowa's win over Murray State was the arrival of freshman center Ava Heiden. Pressed into action because of two early fouls on junior forward Hannah Stuelke, Heiden was the star of the day. The 6-foot-4 center from Sherwood, Ore., scored a career-high 15 points and grabbed seven boards.
