Nov 26, 2010. Auburn @ Alabama.

If anyone looks at Auburn's schedule. There are some real arguments against their #1 status.

Beat Miss St 17-14
Beat Clemson in OT @ home 27-24
Beat So Car 35-27 @ home
Beat Kentucky 37-34
Beat Arkansas 65-43 @ home
Beat LSU 24 -17

Auburn has Cam Newton. If he goes down, they are very average. Sorta like Florida without Tebow.

I agree that newton is the difference for auburn. He's been outstanding this season. Their defense hasn't been great and he's single handedly won some games for them. He deserves the heisman if they keep winning.

Auburn #1 Oregon #2 in the new BCS.

Auburn is good but I have to admit I'm hoping they lose too. I want to see a situation where the BCS has to give Boise State a title shot or admit there is no circumstance under which we will let them play for an NC.

Oregon and Oklahoma would be an interesting game with the way they lineup the game would be over in 2 1/2 hours. I knew OU wasn't #1, Auburn might actually be that good.

The issue for teams like Boise, TCU and Utah is that if alabama wins out and beats auburn, they will probably be in the title game over any of those teams with no losses. They also have to worry about Michigan State, and missouri if they both win out. I just hope they don't put Boise against TCU for a THIRD STRAIGHT YEAR. The BCS is scared of losing games to non AQ teams.

TCU and Utah still have to play each other and I think Iowa beats Michigan state this weekend. Missouri could easily drop a game before the end up the year as well.

It could get really interesting if TCU and Boise win out and both get overlooked.

Utah Goes down. Is TCU really that good or was Utah a little over rated?

If oregon and Auburn win out they are in, no question. As the current system stands, it's very possible Boise or TCU will be left out of the BCS. That will be a shame either way.

TCU currently leads Boise in the polls, but has played two more games to date.

4 left?

Boise State
TCU
Auburn
Oregon

TCU has one more game against New Mexico.

Boise has three: Fresno, Nevada, Utah State

Oregon has Arizona and Oregon State

Auburn still has to Play Alabama and then South Carolina in the SEC Championship

From most projections, Boise having three games left will help put them into position to pass TCU in the BCS standings and take one of the top two spots if oregon or Auburn slip up.

Oregon, BSU, and TCU are all locks to run the table IMO.

Auburn could easily lose either or both of their remaining games. I think Bama will beat them.

My guess is Oregon and Boise State for the National Championship. And BSU has beaten the Ducks each of the last two years.
