This topic isn't really going anywhere, is it? I do like my Blackberry quite a bit but I have to admit I am considering changing to either an Iphone or Droid when I get a chance.

The reasons are I love my Ipod Touch and therefore would really like an Iphone, but I have seen Droids that are really cool as well and want to check them out.

Seems like Droid and Iphone have a crapload more apps and that is one big reason I will shop them for my next phone.

Blackberries used to represent over 80 percent of all smartphones sold in America. Now it's less than 10%. Shocking for such a transition to happen in less than 3 years.

iPhone is 50%
Android is now over 25% and growing at an alarmingly fast rate.

If you want to check out a good Android phone Mike, look at the "incredible". It should hit Verizon in about 2 or 3 weeks. 8MP camera, full touch, and the sickest 1GB processor I have ever seen in a phone.

I had it in my hands and was shocked at how much faster it was than my Droid.

Had a pearl, it was good for what it was. Got a Driod now, and wouldn't own a blackberry ever again. EVER.

Droid and iPhone make the blackberry phones look like donkey flop.

You had it in your hands? I've been waiting for them to announce that phone. My 2 year upgrade is available at the end of the month and it would be sweet if it was released by then.

Iphone is basically passe.... Droids kick butt, and comparatively, the Blackberry is ancient.

I had several choices to chose from for my work phone. I checked out many of the smart phones. I love my Blackberry. It's not jammed with a ton of features I will never use and it is more oriented towards my work needs.

I would have considered an Iphone but our servers won't be up for another month or so.

I did check out the Droid. I even played with my neighbors for an hour. Cool phone but I still like by Blackberry for work better.

If I get a Driod it would be more for personal use.

I think it depends on with Driod phone you get. My Hero is more business orientated, not saying you can't make it a Iphone clone if you want but is more business orientated by default.

I use gmail so the integration is great but you can connect it to exchange if you want

Check out the app "TouchDown" for android. It is the PERFECT corporate email system. It does Contacts, tasks, calendar, and even Global Address List search.

I have used my Droid for work and play before it even launched. It is the BEST overall phone I have ever had.

The HTC incredible might actually be better. lol

That nice and all but Corporate infrastructures vary vastly from company to company. We have integrated clients for most of our systems infrastructure built on MS products. That app takes into account MS Exchange but most corporate infrastructures use a lot more then that.

We actually have system/tool integration with our Blackberry environment that goes way above email clients.

Because of the long history of Blackberry and Corporate use, there offerings integrate seamlessly with our technologies and system infrastructure at work. Our techs will tell you it's the easiest to work with.

As stated above we are just now experimenting with an Iphone environment but it requires much in the way of testing before we roll it out. The same would apply to the other "newer" technologies and phones like Android.

I have a Pearl and I like it a lot...I think I'm going to go with the the Curve for my upgrade today. I'll wait a couple more years before moving up to the Droid, or whatever else they have in 2012/2013.

I'm thinking very hard about getting the Droid (I'm currently on AT&T - long story). My wife currently has Verizon, so I'll probably join her on that service and see if we can't just go with a Family plan or something.

Verizon seems to be the best choice right now. I went with the Storm 2 instead of the Curve. I like it. I know many people don't like this, but the touch-press screen is good for me.
