I am worried about the Suns season ending tomorrow night in SA. The Spurs know if they don't get this game they could be facing a Game 7 against a dangerous team. They will go for the swift kill. I hope things go well for the Suns and I hope Diaw is on his game. He seems to hold the key to our fate this season.

Go Suns!

The Suns will win heroically in Game 5, then roll over like dead puppies in Game 6.

I'm not. Mainly because I accepted the Suns series loss after game 3.

Call me a pessimist, call me a non-believer, call me whatever. I'm not playing in that game, and all I can do is watch (not that I could help the team on that level anyway, but you get the point: when there's nothing you can do to change the outcome, there's nothing wrong with giving up).
And after watching the Suns for some years now, I'd be shocked to see them extending the series to game 6.

I was glad we avoided the sweep and I'd be happy to watch another Phoenix game this season (have to work tomorrow at game time), but I don't expect anything but a Spurs win.

this is actually exactly what I'm expecting. this team isn't done kicking us in the nuts yet. there's at least one more swift kick coming.

This is me also. I conceded after game 3. The Suns are going to lose this series. It was nice that they came out focused and full of energy and took game 4, but it was too little, too late. No way they do it four straight games and twice on the road.

Likely game 5 is the end of the road. We need to actually take it to game 7 for me to even get nervous again for this team.

That is exactly what I expect, IF they would miraculously win game 5 (as stated in another thread).

Looks like we know our team...

As long as D'Antoni doesn't ever put Barbosa back in the starting lineup again I'm not going to worry too much.

It all depends on the refs.

If Amare and Shaq are in foul trouble....forget about it.

Notice how we won in Game 4. Neither was sitting on the bench for very long. The refs let the Suns bigs play instead of promptly sitting Amare and Shaq down on the bench to help to Sterns....I mean Spurs.

As always...the refs will decide the outcome in this series.

In a van...down by the river.
Well for what it's worth, i've been stuck at work for our elimination game the last 3 years and i was scheduled to work tomorrow night but it got switched on me. So....it appears that i'll be watching after all. Could be a good omen.

Don't dread it..

The pressure is on the Spurs.

The Suns are expected to lose, they're down 3-1, no one thinks they have a chance. The Spurs on the other hand, do not want to come back to Phoenix with the Suns trying to force a 7th game. There is a lot of pressure on the Spurs to close this out, we'll see how they respond.

The Suns needed to split in San Antonio, when that didn't happen I predicted the Spurs in five games. The Spurs have ice in their veins, they are not afraid to take big shots at the end of close, playoff games. Also, their defense is smothering at the end of close games and our guys never seem to get good looks. If the score is within 4 points or less, either way, with two minutes left, the Spurs have a huge edge. I would love to see a winning buzzer beater to suck the life out of them, but they are the best at not letting that happen to them.

Series was over after third game. I'm looking forward to seeing how they play, what kind of adjustments we see, hopefully extend the series for another game. There's a part of me that's hoping for a miracle, but it's no big deal if they lose. I just hope they go down fighting.

Crawford is reffing a Spurs game?

He had that suspension after ejecting Duncan for no reason. I thought he'd never ref a Spurs game ever again.

One of two things I hope to see today, in order of preference:

#1 Suns win, and win big. Popp can't adjust to Diaw, and Diaw continues to roll. Nash plays much better in Game 5 than anytime this post season (that shouldn't be hard). Amare/Shaq combine for 40 and 30.

or

#2 Suns lose and lose big. Kerr stops D'Antoni on his way off the court on Nat'l TV and literally hands him a pink slip... Literally! Also, Tim Duncan is found laughing at Joey again and is tossed again.

BTW, I believe if the Suns win Game 5 in San Antonio, this series is going 7 games.

I dont see a Popovich-led Spurs losing three straight to the Suns. Not with D'Antoni at the helm. No matter where the games are played.

like someone already stated. i'm afraid of the ticky tacky fouls. amare, shaq & diaw are prone to them. i hope they dont sit down early.

Which Crawford shows up? The one that hates Duncan, or the one that wants to prove that he doesn't hate Duncan and calls nothing against him?

I will watch tonight but I fully expect to be watching the Suns get their asses kicked.

Over/Under on Amare's defensive rebounds tonight shall be 5. I am taking the under.

Yeah and amares defensive assignment will be setting screens left and right for some open jumpers with no switching. Fans should enjoy the game, it might be awhile till the suns reach the playoffs again. Certainly FA's will scratch phoenix off the list of preferred destinations this summer.

I am ready for it. Hopefully some of the ignorant fans will bandwagon off this team.

I think the Suns could push this to 7. I accepted that we were done after the 2nd loss. Stick a fork in us, we're done, kind of thing. I'd love to see it go 7, even if we lose, just so the Spurs are that much more tired heading to their next series. I don't want them getting ANY rest.
