I don't want to see McNabb win a Super Bowl, I just don't like him and am sick of the Chunky Soup commercials! :p

I want the Eagles to win just because my manager at work is a Pat's fan and has been gloating about them all season. Even though I can't stand him, I hope TO can play. That would make the game that much more fun to watch in terms of football not celebration. Belichick is a great defensive mind, but Jim Johnson is no slouch either. Hopefully this game will be better than the division title games.

Being that the Eagles were once in our division I hate them and hope they lose. Damn them.

Only Eagles I every liked were Randal and Zordich

I was rooting against Philly up until now. Now I'd like to see them beat New England. Seems like I'm always pulling for the underdog.

Up until 1988 I was a Pats fan. I want the Eagles to go down.

this is one of those super bowls where i honestly do not care who wins, kind of like buffalo vs. dallas in their last game when buffalo just got creamed or new york and baltimore. i really dont want the patriots to win another one, but i dont really like philadelphia all that much either.

Spend one or two mornings listening to Philly Radio 610 (WIP) and you'll understand why you never never never want to give Eagle fans a world championship.

Both the north and south Jersey news media gives the Eagles more coverage than other non-NYC teams. Having to put up with Eagle obnoxes braying about "the new Eagle dynasty" for the next 12 months figures to be pretty ugly.

I stopped listening to 610 a loooonnnngggg time ago. (Eskin is a moron.)

It's so tough here in Jersey. I got the moron Eagles fans singing the stupid "Fly, Eagles, Fly" song and chanting E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES! (Way to go, you can spell!) And then we have all these what I call faker fans who are just now saying "Ihope the Eagles win" but they really have no clue who is on the team (other than TO since he has a separate news broadcast everyday and his own little TO update column in the papers).

Then I have the fans who are my friends and family. I would love to see them happy, but along with that comes hearing how great the Eagles are for a full year from the fiorst group of "fans" and media I mentioned.

I'm torn. I can tell you that I can't stand Freddie Mitchell and hope he has a horrible game whether the Eagles win or not.

Put 200 on the pats -7

and to back it up I put 40 on McNabb to win MVP. 40 wins 200.

Have MOST of the bases covered there lol

The only reason I want the Eagles to win is because I like McNabb. What pisses me off is those same fans that booed the selection of McNabb over Ricky are going to be saying "McNabb is awesome! I'm so glad we picked him!" Bunch of dirtbags.

Another reason to root for the Pats is that the Eagles play here next year.

Adam, the Eagles weren't built through free agents at all. They have 15 million under the cap for next year and have been way under the cap almost every year. Their team is built mostly through the draft and mid-range free agent signings. Jeavon Kearse and TO were really the exceptions in terms of big names for them to sign. If you look at their pro-bowlers, they are Eagles draftees.

The Eagles and Pats are pretty similar organizations. Professional, unsplashy. Andy Reid is not a trash talker or a guy who spends money. They have a plan, which is to re-sign their young players before they get real good, then they don't sign their players when they are old and expensive relative to their talent.

After losing to the Rams in their first NFC championships, they saw that their secondary of Vincent and Taylor (pro-bowlers) were getting old. They drafted 3 defensive backs in the 2nd and 3rd round. People thought that was strange. All 3 are now starting for the Eagles and 2 are in their first pro-bowl this year.
