Dilemma:

I've been sitting on Quan in my FFL for 8 weeks (like a lot of you). I need to fill in for a bye-week vacancy.

If you have him, are you starting him this week?
Why or why not?

Thanks
I'm starting him on one of my teams since I dont have too many other options....

I'm 6-1 w/that team, however, I've lost K. Robinson due to his suspension,
R. Caldwell because of his season ending injury.. S. McDonald and C. Lee (whos injured anyways) are on a bye-week and my other available WRs E. Berlin and D. Watts at 100% cant do what Quan can do at 60%... Plus.. being in a 18-team league, not too many players of merit are available to claim......

I haven't decided yet. I'm leaning toward "non" since I don't think he'll play a lot, but who knows? I didn't play Emmitt that week he threw the TD, rushed for over 100 yards and had a rushing TD so what do I know? :stupid:

I'm starting him, I can start either 3 WRs or 3 RBs and well Westbrook is out at RB, Lewis is suspended so all that really leaves me is Clinton Portis and a bunch of back-ups at RB so instead of starting 3 RBs like I have always done its going to be Andre Johnson, David Patten and Anquan this week.

I drafted Quan in the middle-late rounds last year in our keeper league's inagural season. I protected him as one of 5 players this year, though he was already hurt, losing Koren Robinson in the process. I kept Q on my IR all year, despite numerous trade offers that have come my way in the past weeks.

He is starting for me this week, and will do well. After all, I've put that much faith in the guy thus far; why wouldn't I give him the benefit of the doubt here?

:)

I also have Fitz. I'm thinking that Fitz will benefit from Qs return the first week. I could see DG playing Quan in a limited basis for the first week. If he gets series only, I'd be screwed.

In one of my other leagues, I traded Boldin and S. Moss to a guy for Curtis Martin and Joe Horn. I couldn't resist that one.

I have Quan in all three of my leagues. However I'm going to sit him until I see him actually on the field. I've waited this long so I can wait another week.

Quan can be a good fantasy player, but is anyone starting the Cardinals defense? I'm trying to get them in a trade: the Falcons defense for the Cardinals defense, and if that doesn't work, then I'll trade both Jason Whitten and the Falcons defense for the Cardinals defense. Hopefully that will work.

If he plays, I'll start him, because he'll get far more points than Dez White will.

Bertrand Berry was on Rich Eisen's show on NFL Ticket last night and when asked if Boldin was going to play he responded, yup. When asked if FF'ers should start him, he said yup! FWIW

Have the choice between him, Duce Staley or Brandon Lloyd. Tempted, but will probably go in another direction until I've seen him in action this week.

Starting him.

Why?

1. He is Anquan Boldin

2. I had him on my team last year. ANd I QUOTE, " Oh, he is a rookie in his first game he won't do anything." Yeah, only 237 yards. I will not make the same mistake twice.

Heck I almost started him when he was injured.

We do inidividual players in our league.

Adrian Wilson is a f'n MONSTER for me this year.

Berry, and Pace are doing good as well.

Peace

I'm starting him.

Along with Emmitt, Josh, Fitz, Rackers, Freddy Jones, and the Defense.

I kicked some major ass last week.

This strategy failed me the first six weeks, and I was really hosed during the Bye week... It's a free league.

Definitely start the Q. I don't really have a lot of options but he's going to be determined to come back strong. Plus, they're saying that after todays practice he is positive he's going to play and he's back from injury.

I have Holt and Horn on bye weeks, so I'm starting him along with Fitzgerald. Tempted to pick up McCown as a flier. We have a 2 QB setup, and Warner is my second QB. He's done pretty well, but sometimes it's fun to gamble...

I'm starting the Cards defense this week. It's either them or Baltimore. Baltimore plays Philly and they have screwed me a few too many times for me to trust them against the Eagles.

I have Quan and Fitz, too. I don't know if I like starting two wide receivers on the same team. Oh, and Emmitt, too. Thoughts?
