Another week of the spring high school sports season has come and gone in the Greater Taunton area.
Last week, both Taunton and Bristol-Plymouth softball remained undefeated with more strong showings while Dighton-Rehoboth softball took down rivals and back-to-back Division 4 defending champions Case. Bristol-Plymouth lacrosse got a new all-time record goal scorer while a Taunton lacrosse player reached a career milestone and Bridgewater-Raynham track and field had another solid showing.
The Taunton Daily Gazette High School Girls Athlete of the Week for March 27-April 6 is Bristol-Plymouth lacrosse's Emma Ericson, receiving 48% of the vote. Bridgewater-Raynham tennis's Nicole Kimball came in second with 34% while Taunton lacrosse's Maddi Szala received 10% to finish third.

Who is the Taunton Daily Gazette H.S. Girls Athlete of the Week for April 7-13?
Bourque went 2-for-2 with two home runs, four runs and six RBIs against North Attleboro.
Erlichman went 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles, a run and five RBIs against Braintree.
Miller went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI against Tri-County.
Arrighi threw her first career no-hitter, going all five innings giving up a run on a walk while striking out 12 against Westport.
Cloonan went 1-for-3 with a solo home run against Case.
Szala had six goals, including her 100th career goal, against Oliver Ames.
Keefe had seven goals and an assist against Fontbonne Academy.
Skeldon had five goals against Bristol-Plymouth.
Ericson had eight goals against Bristol Aggie.
Bosco had five goals, an assist and 10 draws against Greater New Bedford.
Olivadesa won first singles 6-4, 6-3 against Franklin.
Kimball won first singles 6-0, 6-0 against New Bedford.
Coughlin won the 100 meter (1:05.1) and was part of the winning the 4x400 meter relay team (4:34.8) in a Hockomock dual meet against King Philip.
Dessaps won the 200 meter (0:28.61) and the long jump (15 feet 6.25 inches) at the Trojan Invitational.
Oneugbu won both the 100 meter (0:13.2) and the 200 meter (0:28.45) in an MAC dual meet against Diman.
Raphino won the high jump (4 feet 4 inches) in an SCC dual meet against Apponequet.
