Tried to quit the team back after Buddy Ryan. Then, that August, i watched an interview with Vince Tobin and promptly went down to the Cards facility and bought season tickets. It was at that point, I realized I'm a lifer and can't quit this team no matter how bad they get. I mean, jeez, if you get hooked by a Vince Tobin interview, it's hopeless.

I'm there Monday.

Tried to quit after the first two games of the '98 season. Both blowout losses to start a season that was supposed to be one of the most promising for the Cards in years.

Tried to go back to St.Louis since I was still a die hard Cardinal baseball fan.

The Rams promptly lost 5 games in a row and the Cards won their first playoff game in 50 years.
