I don't see it happening but if you could would you trade up for any player in the first round?

Would love to see someone like Thomas, Allen or Adams falling to 13 but are they or anyone else in this draft worth moving up for?

IMO, in order to move up to like 6th pick or higher, we're giving up a lot in a deep draft. Like.. swapping 1sts and losing our 2nd this year kind of "lots". Only way I see it happening is for a talented Safety who drops (ala Adams or Hooker) .. otherwise I can see us standing pat or making a small leap for a QB we like who is around pick 9-11..

I don't like to sacrifice picks, so the trade would have to be pretty lopsided in our direction value-wise to make doing it worth the effort. No specific player - the opportunity just has to be the right one.

Exception might be spending a 2018 pick in order to move from #45 into the late 1st round in order to secure the right QB at the right value trade-wise.

Would not trade up from #13, but perhaps trade up from #45 into the first round for a QB.

Moving from #45 into the first again is going to cost at least next year's first. I definitely don't want to do that, especially since we'll probably be at best looking at one of the top 3... and Kizer.

Take one at 13 or resign yourself to taking someone in the 4th/5th, I say.

However, I could see us jumping in front of the Browns a couple of picks for our choice at whoever our QB is if it falls in the way that none of them have been taken, or we are truly in love with a particular prospect.

If Adams or Hooker were there at 9, I would strongly consider moving up.

That is a tough question......no one really.

I REALLY like Malik Hooker, but not enough to trade up.
My thoughts exactly. Hooker is my #1 on our board but to get him, we would have to trade up into Tenn's spot and that would kill our draft so no thanks. I'll be shocked if he makes it past SD but nobody had them taking Bosa last year, either. In the crazy event that he does, he could fall to us. Frankly, I think a former DB coach like Bowles will have a really tough time passing on him.
