When I was thinking who was the bust for where they were rated as going in the draft, I picked A&M QB Tannehill. I'm going Texas A&M again, WR Jeff Fuller as the underrated player if taken in the 4 to 5 round, to me he would be a steal, big guy with some speed. I'm going the direction that most say was the opposite way around and that was the belief players like Fuller kept Tannehill back...I say it was the other way around. Put a kid like Fuller with some proper coaching and a player with a work ethic like Fitzgerald, I think is can become a very good WR in the NFL.

I really like Lirpa Sloof the O-lineman out of Baylor. Don't know why, but I think he'll surprise.

I have 3 guys, Mitcell Schwartz OT Cal IMO better then a number of OT's being mentioned as 1st round picks. Omar Boldin CB ASU, some team will get a steal in the 5th round 1st/ 2nd round talent when healthy. Trevin Wade CB UofA a solid player who in the right system could be a starter for the next 10 years.

lol, I do not doubt that Tannehill exhibits some skills for the position but really, he is raw version of Tebow to me and in this league of 'we need it now', I have a hard time believing he will be ready in the next three years and will someone even wait that long with a guy who exhibits athletic ability to be used at a possible different position. He is Stephen McGee of A&M all over again, with a bunch of hype. What this thread is about is who is the steal of this draft. I'm going with his teammate Fuller at WR

I will start with the WR. Here are a few that will be plesent suprises. Most of these were held down do to injuries last year.

Greg Childs, WR, Arkansas - hurt his knee last year and is now just getting back into playing shape. Ran a 4.39 at his pro-day. If he had not been hurt he was projected as a 2nd rounder. Can be picked in the 5-6th rounds.

Chris Owusu- WR Stanford- tore his ACL last year and is now just getting back into shape. Ran a 4.36 at the combine.

Ryan Boyles - WR Oklahoma - Tore his ACL on Nov 5. Before that he had 83 reps 1157yrds and 10 TD. Great production. Now if he does check out ok before the Draft you could take a flyer on him in rounds 4-5.

Tannehill is my vote for biggest bust, especially if he's taken in the top 10.

On topic; steal of the draft will be Omar Bolden, he will excel in a fire zone scheme (Pitt, AZ).

4th round: Omar Bolden, CB. ASU

Has nothing to do with ASU homerism. None at all. Pre-injury he was arguably the 4th best CB in last years draft. Im hoping his injury scares teams away and he slides to us. This guy is a stud. I believe he could be our Richard Marshall. Physical, strong, very quick, excellent ball skills, very physical (Horton D). I dont know if he'll make it that far, but he will be the Acho of the 2012 draft if we are fortunate enough to nab him.

^^ asuprodigy ninja'd my pick.

I think Juron Criner is going to be a very good player. He might not have blazing speed but has great hands and good height.

Thats only a steal if he slides to a late late round.

Everyone knows hes a stud. Love to get that guy, but it wouldnt be a steal because we all know what a boss he is. A 'steal' is someone who outperforms their perceived potential. Like Acho. Everyone thought we was alright, and then he went onto get 7 sacks his rookie year. Thats definitely outperforming whats expected of him.

Criner is expected to tear it up wherever he goes.

which leads me again to how all these draft predictions by the so called experts are all screwed up. I watched Acho at UT, and it does not surprise me even a little bit that he did so well. Watch the tape while he was at UT, look at his stats from UT...did anybody else lol. Dude was at least a second round pick to me and we got a bargain.

I disagree to some extent, Acho was a stud at UT, some slip though the cracks, A steal is when you get him later then he should go,(dansby/dockett/aw) he doesn't have to slide way/way down to be a steal. Schwartz could be a huge steal in the 2nd IMO when he out plays the guys drafted in the 1st. Bolden is the perfect fit for our defense, I'm not a fan of ASU and know he is a good player, I know I want him here.

Tom Brady

(didn't specify which draft)

you get the buzzer, for the very fact of taking the time of reminding us that the draft was not specified, which meant you knew it was about this draft...come on man, the draft that matters now is only a month away...whose your draft steal THIS draft gmabel, I don't want to be the only one picking a guy who will be out of the league in three years lol

Brandon Weedon of Oklahoma State. He's ready to play in the NFL right now. If he were 25 he'd be a top 3 pick. Kurt Warner was 37 years old when he took the Cards to the SB and 38 when they were even better in 2009 so you'd get a lot more years out of Weeden than people think.

Oh wait. I take that back. He's too old and didn't play against any good defenses. He'd be a wasted pick. :stick:

Luke K- will be an everydown LB for 10 years. perfect fit at sIL with DWASH at WIL,
He would cover up alot of other stinky diapers on Hortons defense, Like DD.

I'm not sure why you have all this hate for Dockett, but I find it to be totally ridiculous. As are most of your posts.

AJ Jenkins, WR from Illinois. He has size speed and was productive even though he had about the worst Qb in college throwing him the ball.

Bruce Irvin, OLB from West Virginia. His numbers, athletically, are 1st round worthy. Once he gets some real coaching, he could be an impact player.

Amini Silatolu - OG - Midwestern St.
*Will be the 3rd best o linmen drafted behind Kalil and DeCastro.

Shea McClellin - OLB - Boise St.
*If he goes to a 3-4 team, he will be a solid player for around 7 years. Think Clark Haggens.

AJ Jenkins - WR - Illinois
*Very versatile receiver, who goes in the 4th or 5th rounds and produces better than some 1st/2nd rounders.

Tyrone Crawford - DE - Boise St
*Another versatile player who stays in the league for a while.

Senio Kelemente - OG - Washington
*If he goes to a team that pulls their OGs, he will be a Pro Bowler.
