"The wing/shipowner Leandrinho, of the Phoenix Suns, passed for a surgery in the left elbow in the last Monday. The gravity of the wound was not divulged by the doctors of the hospital where the Brazilian was operated.

Leandrinho, that suffered a sharp fall of performance in the semifinals of the Conference West, was necessary utilize a special protection in the elbow during the party, what can explain the problems inside block. In the last weekend, the Brazilian made bitter the elimination of his team, that fell us playoffs faced with the San Antonio Spurs."

Time reverses when you're talking about hemispheres. That's why days are longer on the equator. So in fact, elindholm is correct about Barbosa's surgery not having happened yet as far as we're concerned. If it hasn't happened, it hasn't been reported on.

These posts sound like the conversations you overhear waiting in the Porta-John line at U of P Stadium parking lot.

This really isn't bad news... assuming there is no continuing problem with his elbow. If it explains his poor shooting in the SA series, it actually good news as far as the future is concerned. Like many others I was quite down on Leandro because of his performance in a series where we were severely challenged - last year he fell off quite a bit against the challenge Dallas presented. So I was beginning to think he couldn't perform when the chips were really down.

I still think he needs to work hard on a midrange shot or a
'teardrop' - something to use when he is facing a first rate shotblocker like Duncan.

He has the Marbury-style off-the-glass teardrop but it isn't very reliable yet.

Didn't you know there is a huge lookingglass at the equator so when you cross it you join Alice in wonderland? That probably explains Leandro's speed too - in wonderland you have to run as fast as you can just to stay in one place and you have to run twice that fast to actually get anywhere.

I'm sure that's what elindholm and dc are talking about.

This also explains why Manu and Oberto are always falling down in this hemisphere.
