Yeah, Jon Gruden has been pimping him, big-time, citiing the one year he played in a pro-style offense (his freshman year under Bill O'Brien) and passed for over 3,000 yards. Gruden could have a point.
Nick Martin.. if Kelly is gone and they really want to grab a center at #29 and think Kelly/Martin are the only two sure-fire prospects

Will Fuller, WR from ND.
The Cards are, supposedly, shopping Floyd. Fuller could be his replacement.
My way out there selection is Braxton Miller. I think he's going to turn into an excellent WR and would give Arians a new toy.
I think I saw it in an ESPN article recently, which doesn't necessarily mean it's true, about different players being shopped and he was one of them. I wouldn't be shopping him if I were the Cards. Is there any new info on this or is this just carryover from last year's rumors?

Cody Whitehair. He can backup all line positions and has good upside as a center. The Cardinals value versatility and if he doesn't initially beat out Shipley, he at least can be a swing guard-center backup and play in sub packages.
The Cardinals have put Floyd's name out there for two years now. It's not that they don't like him, it's more about trying to pick up some value for him because they don't envision paying him #1 WR money down the road.
Does anyone here see Floyd as a true #1 WR?
I don't. He reminds me of Rob Moore---a tall WR who makes good plays on intermediate to deep 50/50 balls---but shies away from the middle of the field and is not a consistent RAC guy. A #1 WR, like Fitzgerald (for example) manifests a mastery of the entire route tree, and is not limited in how he can impact the game at his position.
I think that if the Cardinals were offered a 2nd or 3rd round pick for Floyd right now or during the draft, they would make the deal. Again, not because they don't see Floyd's value---they just don't see paying him in excess of $10-12M per year.
Cardale Jones, because I crazy [/QUOT
Hmmmm, not so crazy.
Jeremy Fowler @JFowlerESPN
Chargers, Cardinals flying to Ohio to visit with Cardale Jones and his mentor Ted Ginn Sr. in draft's final days.
I like this one - the Cards have even came out and said they may draft a non-center to play C.

I don't follow college football near as closely as the NFL...
Can someone give me the cliff note version, on how a QB who couldn't maintain his starting role in college, is projected to go to ANYONE in the first round?
Pissing match with coach?
Xavien Howard. He has great size, good speed and elite ball skills. Two guys that I respect in Greg Cossel and Louis Riddick rank him in their top 3 or 4 CBs in this class. He needs a little work on technique but he's a very physical player with a high ceiling as press corner. If Jackson and Apple are off the board he could very well be next corner on BASKs board.
