Since we are looking for a spark I think it's got to be Navarre.

I keed I keed.

I honestly think King should because Josh got 9 games and at this point it's time to kill the King delusion Jason style.

We need to rip it's head off burn it beyond recognition and then bury it in the four corners of the earth with eternal guards posted.

King. He deserves another week. If that fails, then start Navarre.

I wish we could start Eli or Ben. I love Fitz and all, but these are two franchise level QBs.

D-Dogg, I'm sorry man, but I can't agree. The 3 INT's were too much. I go with McCown for the rest of the year

Got nothing to lose now - McCown.

Unless Green has totally given up on him.

King pretty much sucked. Threw a few up for them to try and make plays on.

Yeah.

He's saying one more performance like that by King, and he'll be cut from the team! Thus, the King era will be over for good, and no one will argue otherwise.

take the caps lock off man. have a beer or something. Its just one game.

I like the fact that King threw the balldown field, but he fumbled A LOT. I say let Josh take on the Jets, but show him how to throw the long ball.

Start McCown. The thing is, King needs some time to pull himself together, get on the same page with his receivers, not fumble the snap, not run into his running back. But this was the argument to not start him today in the first place. I say you put McCown back in there, play baby ball again, try not to have any turnovers, and try to win the game the way we've gotten all our wins this year. If it doesn't work, you can give up on the season and play King, Navarre or whoever can make the most progress with our young receiving crew. But next week, I say put McCown back in there and try to get to 5-6.

I AM SO UPSET BY KING STARTING THAT THE CAPS LOCK STAYS TO SHOW HOW FRUSTATED I AM WITH A CAPITAL "F"...

I WILL RESUME NON-CAPS ONCE MCCOWN IS BACK

Are there any free agent QB's we can pick up over Thanksgiving? If so I vote for one of them.

Looks like we will see a lot of posts in caps because King is starting again as per Green.

1. The change should not have been made the night before the game. If King was to start, he should have gotten 100% of the reps in practise. A lot of those mistakes were from being unfamiliar with the first unit. He ran into the RB, for crying out loud. Last year, Josh threw a ball off a lineman's facemask in the endzone. That ish happens when you aren't with the guys often. That is Green's bad...either make the change on Monday, or don't make it at all.

2. Josh throws deeper and better than King. However, he simply WON'T do it. He has issues reading defenses, so he plays it safe. He relies on the defense to do its job, and that can't happen every week especially without Berry and Dansby playing.

3. King fits Denny's offense better, and I think the turnovers will come down. One more week, with a full week of taking all the reps, and then I'd evaluate what King can/can't do. If we fall out of contention, I'd go with Navarre, to see what he can bring. Josh hasn't proven that he's worth keeping next year. He may develop into a solid qb in a few years, but we don't have the time to wait for him.

At least we we're winning games with McCown!

They won half their games at home last year with probably the worst NFL team ever assembled. 3-1 at home 1-5 on the road and Josh was 1-4 in road starts. He was also behind center for the blowout in Buffalo.

I'm with John h, King playing terrible does not make scatter arm Josh McCown any better.
