During his Monday Morning Press Conference, Coach Green revealed that Josh McCown is starting on Sunday against the Eagles.

Start Navarre.

Why would Green showcase McCown when is all but gone? Weak effort to pump up his win/loss numbers?

It's certainly going to be a "Heartache Tonight" on "Saturday Night" here at SDS....Not a good move "in the Long Run" indeed since McCown honestly have no long-term future.... I mean... "I Can't Tell You Why" Denny would elect to start McCown at this point...he's already had his "Life In The Fast Lane", but Denny has gone completely "Desperado".... Lord... I hope they have a "New Kid In Town" soon or else "One of These Nights" I will "Chug All Night" some "Tequila Sunrise" "On the Border".....

Whats funny is how all of you just assume McCown has no future here.

The bottom line is thats a sign that Green still likes and believes in McCown. It would not even be a stretch to say they want him back here in a back-up role next year. If thats the case it makes all the sense in the world to give him the start.
