He is a stud. I have been liking this guy for a while now. He is related to someone in the Card's staff. Hopefully we can keep him. If not as a WR then put 20lbs on him and call him a TE.

if he's exposed to waivers, he'll never see the PS

a 6'6 receiver that out jumps Cromartie in the end zone will get picked up immediately

The guy at the end of the zelda game, you need the silver arrow and the magic sword to stand a chance.

He's my secret "hope that guy makes the team" player of this year...I saw him in training camp and was shocked at how big, yet athletic he is. He's a raw specimen. Glad to see him have some good grabs tonight.

I picture a redzone lineup with Fitz, Q, Trannon and Pope. The fade route and jumpballs will equal TDs with those four out there.

I thought they might try to sneak him onto the PS, but not after the two late grabs in this game.

does he look like Fitz? When I was in Flag. I thought "who is this guy that looks like Fitz".

Yeah, kind of at least in the body type. Taller, but with similar hair. He's not "pretty" like Larry...but he made a pretty catch like Larry makes tonight.

He also played basketball in college, iirc.

The Cards have avery good WR group. If Johnson finally plays in the regular season as a first rounder should, the Cards are going to be the scariest offense in the NFC. Breaston will make the team, so who else will? If Trannon has been showing those skills in camp, he should be #5.

i've never heard of an undrafted free agent getting picked up off waivers and placed on his new teams 53 man roster. Have you?

It has to happen in this case. The guy has really impressed me and I believe must be on the roster. I agree would not clear waivers for the PS.

yes, as a Phins fan in the AFC, I can tell you that in 2005, Kyle Eckel, a FB was picked up by Saban after being released by Belichick, and somebody will undoubtedly sign Patrick Cobbs if Cam releases him

I'm sure it has happened a ton (can't think right off the top of my head), and wil happen a bunch more this year

the guy is 6'6, and jumped over a starter from the Chargers last year to haul in a pass

he has already done more than anybody on the roster besides the top 4 receivers anyway

It happened four years ago to the Arizona Cardinals, when Tony Gilbert was snatched off the practice squad, and he's been a solid special teams contributor for the Jaguars.

I think that Trannon mysteriously tweaks his knee in the final preseason game, and has to go on IR. I don't think he'll clear waivers, either, but we don't have enough roster spots, and I don't think he can play special teams.

He seems the heir apparent to Bryant Johnson's job.

My guess is that we won't come up with the money to re-sign BJ..Trannon could very well be the guy in the wings

You know the Cards are going to at least keep 5, so why would you place him on the IR where you can't develop him? If he's better than anyone else, give him the spot. Do we know that he can't contribute on special teams?
