Margaretta junior Julian Washington (Division V) and Old Fort senior Ryan Adelsperger (Division VII) were first-team all-state for boys basketball, as recognized by the Ohio Prep Sports Media Association.
The All-Ohio teams are based on nominations from the seven districts of the OPSMA, which vote on the all-district teams from regular-season accomplishments. The following players are from the Northwest District.
Polar Bears junior Judah Keller and Genoa junior Walter Plantz were special mention.
High school basketball girls Who were the area girls from Northwest District to earn all-state status for basketball?
Gibsonburg sophomore Reece Walby was special mention in Division VII.
Danbury senior Tyler Harris and Stockaders junior Isaac Gallagher were honorable mention.
Clyde senior Brayden Olson and Bellevue senior Joel Ray were special mention in Division IV.
Woodmore senior Brady Thatcher and Lakota junior Avery Shilling were honorable mention in Division VI.
