I have been looking at available asst line coaches that could help us. These asst coaches that always have good Offense Lines.

Todd Washington- Asst Line Coach - Balt
Jim Ryan - Asst Line Coach - Houston
Joe Gilbert - Asst Line Coach - Indy
Pat Ruel - Asst Line Coach - Seattle
Joel Hilgendberg - Asst Line Coach - Green Bay.

If you have knowledge of any good OL coaches, please post them here.

Jim Ryan would be a good choice. Has a very solid background.

We probably won't know that until we select a HC. I am sure he will want a lot of say on who his staff is.

I know Bartel (NFL QB failure) said Grimm was good at teaching schemes but might have been lacking in technique but I think technique is more important than schemes on the OL (I know the NFL defenses haves assorted ways to put pressure now, but the OL protection schemes cannot be that complex were it requires a genius if you have good talent on the Oline) and the college ranks have guys that I would wager could teach technique a whole lot better than Grimm. Has not the University of Wisconsin and some other schools have a consistent good class of OL as a whole through the past, maybe the new HC should look into that.
