Which team will make the biggest improvement next year in the NFL ?

What do I mean by improvement ?

Well lets say the Cards go 9-7 or 10-6 that would probably be the most improved team from last season.

Or if the Bills go to the AFC Championship game or the Superbowl then that would probably be the most improved team from last season.

Write in's are allowed as well.

Go Cards.

The Panthers will be the most improved team in 2003. They've got all the tools to be a defense and offense comperable to the Bucs of the late 90s. They'll be 9-7 and probably a wild card. They can be a power running team, with a stifling defense. I don't want to play them this year.

Both wild cards will come from the NFC South: The Bucs and the Panthers. The Falcons will win the division.

The Panthers will be tough this year.

They have a very good defense, probably the best pass rush in the league. Their running game should be strong with Stephen Davis and their pretty good offensive line.

Their passing game will probably be their achilles heel though....Jake Delhomme hasn't proven too much, though he does have "potential".

Yeah they were in there at first but I don't think the Lions have the Defense to do much next year. BUT they will be improved.
The Lions got a lot of questions, and uncertanties.

They really haven't improved that much.

Rookie Wideout (not much of an impact).

Overpaid 2nd tier corner (Bly), and haven't improved the linebackers (probably gotten worse).

Good for us!

Man what a bunch of Home Team supporters we got. How many actually looked at the other 7 teams?

No Vikings? They have a legitimate chance of winning the NFC North this year.

No, I think they do. They lost a lot of those games with last-second heartbreakers. They have a really interesting team. If Culpepper can come around a little bit, and the D can get a little bit better, they'll be neck and neck with the Packers all season long.

Your out of your mind. With what Defense? And with what leadership ?
The Vikings can't even draft right let alone win a game.

We'll see. I bet they go 7-9 or better. No worse than 2nd in division. Who's going to challenge them? The Bears? Please.

We will see is right

I am not Mark Malone so I am not going to say the Vikings don't have a chance in improvement. I thought with my little brain of the 8 teams that seem to be really turning around, and making the next step ON PAPER. So who knows the Vikes could do well.

I agree that the Vikings will be a lot better than last year.
I wouldn't put them out of the Division race at all.

Oh my God! I agree with Kerouac on something.

The Panthers, coached by John Fox, are the best young team in football. I thought Fox should have been coach of the year last year. This year, they'll win 9 or 10.

Baltimore will win the Super Bowl this year if they drafted a servicable quarterback in Boller.

IF they do...they did it with a bunch of draft picks that we didn't want, ASU players we didn't want, and former players we didn't want.

I put them at 3rd in the division behind the Packers and Bears. Keep in mind there is only 6 divisional games now, they have to beat somebody other than the Lions twice, and they don't have a very easy schedule.

I am thinking the Panthers. They are going to the Super Bowl.
