I am thinking either Portland or Atlanta.

Don't everybody jump in at once. :sarcasm:

I guess since there was no true consesus pick that they didn't fix it this year. :)

Sucks for Charlotte. They could have had Paul if they had stayed at 3, but no dice I guess.

Deron Williams could be nice there though

I think Chris Paul is very good, but I would rather have Williams. He has great size, he's a good passer, he has a good outside shot, and he's a very good defender. I don't think he is as good at passing and the open break as Jason Kidd. He's the same type of defender though, NBA shot is much better. I think the Deron Williams is the best point guard in this draft.

There is no Patrick Ewing or LeBron James in this draft, so it doesn't completely kill the conspiracy theory. However the Milwaukee Bucks have got to be the smallest market team in the NBA. And that much kills the idea of the NBA cheating to give the big market teams the best picks.

Andy Katz was on the Dan Patrick Show today and his analysis was if the draft was held last night, Milwaukee would take Bogut. He anticapates that they will look very hard at Marvin Williams.

He did surmise that Atlanta needs a point guard and could anticipate Deron Williams going #2. He predicts that teams will work both guys out against each other and after that matchup Deron will come out on top.

With Portland jumping up to #3 the word is that they will target Gerald Green. My guess is still that the Blazers will not pass on the chance to get Martynas and keep the connection with Sabonis or if Marvin Williams falls he could end here if Portland finds a taker for Zach Randolph.

Paul will most likely end up in either N.O. or Charlotte.

I know the odds aren’t there. However, I’m going to go out on a limb with a hunch and say that Milwaukee gets the first pick in this year’s draft. I know, call me crazy.
