If the Suns wanted Garnett they could get him PROVIDED we get that Hawks pick this draft. Without that pick its much harder to do if we plan on trying to keep Barbosa out of the deal.

Marion for Richardson and Pietrus. Take either of Horfort, Yi, Noah with Atl pick.

Why would you want Richardson AND Pietrus? Moreover I don't think GSW needs a player like Marion. They are loaded enough with quality forwards.

I'll pass on TMac, thanks. At least Marion plays 70+ games a a year and doesn't take shots away from other people.

Gosh, we've beaten the Garnett thing to death. I think I'd rather wait and see if Minnesota is even serious about trading him before joining in on the discussion.

Furthermore, I don't think we'll have a clue what the Suns will want to do until we see how the playoffs pan out. If the Suns lose to the Spurs, I can see a major roster explosion. One can only hope it pans out better than it did in the mid-90s.

My problem with Marion is that during the playoffs, his drive and agression are a huge question mark from game to game. Amare had a bad game offensively, but he still played his ass off. For all the times during the season that Amare takes a game off, he comes with fire during the offseason. So does Nash, so does Bell and to a degree, so does Barbosa. If we were to trade Marion, it had better be for a gamer. I've said it before, but my dream trade in the offseason is Marion and the Atlanta pick for Kevin Durant. The ideal scenario would probably be with the Celtics, and having the Suns take back Theo Ratliff as well.
