I suggest we sign this guy off free agency. He can also replace Faneca at G when he retires.

I voted Hall. We already know what DA is going to give us, complete inconsistency at best. The conditions sucked today, you have to throw Hall out there and see how he does. Although the tampa 2 defense can really give young QB's issues, so it could be another ugly game. I remember Matt Ryan started off playing pretty well as a rookie and then looked absolutely horrific vs TB. Although I would not hesitate to put in DA if max isn't moving the offense throughout the first quarter and our D is keeping us in the game (like they did today).

Jeff Blake ?

John Navarre ?

Preston Parsons ?

All seem like better options than what we have.

I voted Hall, but its kinda like a poll asking who you'd hire to do your plumbing... Moe, Larry or Curley.

Voted for Skeleton. Why not, can't be any worse than Hall or DA and has the size and strong arm. They say he is a project, so begin the project now.

When you start an UDFA, you expect him to look like ass from time to time. Is it really that shocking he didn't look good on the road at false start field with wet conditions?

The only false start Sunday was by the Seahawks. I'm still laughing about that.

I've seen a lot of QBs look bad but I've never seen one miss throws so horribly so consistently. Well maybe Josh McCown a few times.

The guy is just too small. Look at the other tiny QB in the NFL, Brees, he's thrown 8 interceptions combined in his last 3 games. :D

That was outstanding. One of the highlights of the game for sure. The two holds on the FG attempts in a row were awesome too, but then he made the 51 yarder.

They were scared of DRC on the edge, then he goes and jumps offsides again later (which didn't burn us because we still held them to a FG but burned another 2 minutes of clock).

Hall. I think you need to give him more than two games.

If he's as miserable as he was Sunday, I'd pull him again for Anderson because he's probably more capable of stepping in with back-up reps during the week, but then I'd give Skelton the nod the following week with a full set of starter practice reps to see what he's got.

Hall because:

1. To go back and forth between the 2 QB's can only lead to more confusion. (Nothing gets built).

2. The hope that Max will perform better (a) before (I hope) a friendly crowd, (b) in dry conditions and (c) maybe a different set of plays.

What was particularly disconcerting (more, even, than losing) was that, with a smart, young QB, you hope there will be directional progress from game to game along some sort of learning-curve. Instead, Max seemed to go backwards in his development and looked absolutely lost back there.

One other caveat - If there's even the remotest possibility of concussion afteraffects, I'd sit him.

Whiz made the move to Hall knowing that there were going to be growing pains. Lets not forget that Hall is an UD RFA. He didn't get many reps with the first string intil a couple of weeks ago. So obviously Hall will struggle as he finds his sea legs.

Assuming that Hall is cleared to play on Sunday he will get the start. However since we are still in the hunt for the NFC West I think his leash will be really short. If Hall fails to protect the ball against the Bucs and continues to be ineffective, I think we will see DA off the bench again.

According to SNF, Hall is concussed. He won't be able to start until he passes all the tests the league administers.

Not sure about that, but I know he was 'cussed" a lot and living in Mesa I think I heard "Oh MY Heck" echoing throughout the "hood' all afternoon... just sayin'

I can't believe Skelton is catching DA in this poll. Actually I can but that just shows how bad of a QB he has become. Pro bowl to scudhole, and we pay him.All I am saying is DA is a second rate second string QB at best. (not dissing Skelton)

The problem is...If you start Hall and he sucks again...You might as well pat him on the back and cut him because he will be done. If you start Anderson....You can then bring in Hall at times to Build confidence.... But Anderson atleast gives us touchdowns....Yes his passes are erractic...But how about WHiz send someone 50 yards down field once in a damn while and let him throw deep. It is so frustrating to watch every NFL team throw a 50 yard TD pass in a game except us! Even the Bills with a 3rd string QB threw deep 2 times on the RAVENS.

he has...DA overthrew the SH.. out of them.

Here's a newsflash...Hall will suck again this year, probably more than once. He's a rookie UDFA but he still has some upside and should improve with experience.

DA would suck again, and he's got a lot of experience that shows he will suck.

Maybe if Hall took a bunch of Steroids and grew 3 inches taller and gained about 30lbs. Oh yeah and had hand enlargement surgery.

Edit: Oh yeah, or they let Hall play in Kevlar full body armor.

All of your QBs are bad, but you should stick with Hall. Carolina is going back & forth between QBs and how is that working out? So yeah stick with Hall a few more games. He will have ups and downs (especially this upcoming sunday), but he's a rookie.

The Titans are going back and forth between QBs and it's working out great for them. Of course the Titans could run the Single Wing and still go 8-8. 13-4 since the bye week last year with Vince Young and Kerry Collins.

Fisher is amazing.

However, even he had back to back bad seasons in '04 and '05 only winning 9 games at the end of the McNair era.

It really doesn't matter who you guys start, we will win regardless.

Well of course you're the best team in the NFC, according to your Coach, so it should be an easy win.

Same thing we heard from Saints fans a few weeks ago.

I voted for Hall but I don't know why, maybe it's because it's possible he has an upside. DA looked decent for a few plays in his first drive but we know what he is capable of. We should just have Hall throw a skyball that will land 40 yards down the field so Larry can outjump everyone for it. If it gets intercepted it would be like a punt. First time I admit this, but I think ML would be better than any of our QB's at this stage of the season.

How about just running some crazy stuff with Max like the Browns did Sunday.

Can you imagine the reaction of the crowd at UPS if Timmy threw a 10+ yard pass to Hall?

Or how about LSH throwing a lateral to Wright on a kick return?

Or Graham running one up the middle? Well maybe not he's too valuable to take a chance on him getting hurt. But I'll bet the guy can run.
