Who would you take at 8?

Who do you want regardless of FA?

I took Jeudy. We need a number one WR for Kyler. I also like Lamb but feel Jeudy may be better.

Jeudy or Thomas as I think those would be the two best players available at that point

I want an Olineman at 8.

However, Keim has left so many holes on this roster that you could argue trading down is the best option.

Seems to be a LOT of guys that we'd (the fans) be happy with. And a LOT that we'd (the fans) be unhappy with. So I'm suggesting that we trade back. That changes if there is ONE PLAYER (have no idea who) that the team likes and is available at #8.

funny:

for the bandwidth devoted to Jeudy vs Lamb, Wirf vs Wills vs Thomas

the leading vote-getter is a guy who nobody is talking about: Derrick Brown.

It's hard to get disappointed or argue about Brown being talented and a fit for our needs. So many of these guys are off the list depending on moves we make in FA... no matter what we do, Brown is on the board as someone who could potentially play either of the three line spots and would be a valuable part of any rotation regardless who else is on the team.

Considering the holes of our roster and the many good free agents defensive lineman shouldn't be pretty smart getting a DT in the first round
A Tackle, lamb or Simmons

Most have him going to Carolina. But it's possible they (Car.) get a trade down offer if LAC passes on Herbert or Simmons. I expect at least one of the two (Brown, Simmons) to be sitting at 8. If not we certainly have good options as well.

Not if you consider Brown a disruptive difference maker right off the bat. That's a big upgrade up the gut with him, Peters and FA.

Distruptive like Quinnen Williams, Leonard Williams, Vea, nick Fairley who were highly rated?
I saw just some undersized Defensive lineman made huge impact from day one
Aaron Donald 285
Jj watt 288
Atkins 290
I think there is a good list of defensive tackle in the free agency so considering our holes on the roster we need a key player in a position where u can't find very much in the free agency
OT
WR
or a hibrid defensive talent like Simmons who can play in different spots, and being a huge force against the mobile qb's

He's probably ahead of Brown for me and the biggest reason we'd go D.

Quinnen William's is just starting out. You know how much he was schemed for? He'll be an impact DL both against run and pass, just as Leonard Williams had been.
