I also enjoy the warriors, this version of the Jazz (which is really tough to say), hornets, magic & cavs

Even a team like the mavericks wouldn't upset me much

Lakers would inspire the hate though

Seattle, huh? You know, those George Karl-coached and Glove / Rainman-led Sonics teams were absolutely fearsome. They used to give my Rockets fits, and they were probably the best baseline and midcourt trapping team the pro game has ever seen. You haven't lived until you've seen Kenny Smith crap bricks just trying to dribble the ball past the line. ;)

Well, I'm taking the Kobe-selfish approach here. I don't really care about any other team in the NBA except this team.

I'm more of a Suns fan than an NBA fan. I'll just stopped watching/listening to NBA news if Phoenix gets eliminated in the playoffs and wait for their summer camp to get into it again.

There are some players I like and wouldn't mind them winning but I really don't care.
Once the Suns are out I pretty much stop watching.

If the Suns can't win it, then I really don't have enough feelings FOR another team to really have a preference.

The list of "HELL NO" teams includes first and foremost the Lakers, followed by the Spurs, Pistons, and Mavericks.

That having been said, I wouldn't mind seeing the Celtics take another, just to stick it to the Lakers. Better yet, I'd root for the Lakers to get to the Finals if I knew they would get swept by Boston.

The Valley so low.
Last season I stopped watching after the Suns lost, but unless they get robbed again, I might go a little farther.

NOT the cheating Spurs. Yes, you can't blame a team for accepting ref gifts, but Poop has received so many, he coaches his players to foul and worse, knowing that they'll get the breaks. My ethics don't allow this, but: Have a heart attack, Stern! And Poop, have a really bad recurring case of hiccups!

Laker trolls are obnoxious, even the knowledgeable Donald--and their players are worse, all except the talented and likable Kwame Brown (all ex-Lakers automatically become nice guys--look at Shaq). Mavs are almost as bad. I'd be interested to see the Celtics in the finals (very likely, I know) and, forget KG, I'd like to see Ray Allen get a ring. NO would be OK, as would the Jazz. Anything but the San Antone-Dallas Axis, and of course the Lakers.

Hornets
Jazz
Blazers
Spurs (Only so everyone is put back to their place, Spurs are the standard, them winning is like normal)

After tonight, I'd like to change my answer to "Not the Celtics, ever" and then probably the Warriors.

I kind of wonder how somebody could legitimately be a Penny Hardaway fan in this day and age. I'm plenty old to remember pre-injury Penny, and he just wasn't that great. My guess is that those trolls are just teenagers who were vaguely amused by the Chris Rock / Penny Hardaway commercials back when their age was in the single digits.

I am a fan of Anfernee Hardaway. There. I said it. And no - growing up in Europe I didn't even know any of the Lil'Penny commercials at all.

Penny back than was just the perfect player in my eyes. Unselfish, intelligent with such amazing courtvision, a potent one-on-one scorer (ecspecially on the low block) and spectacular finisher.

And I'm one of the (probably) few Suns fans who still is thankful for his efforts to eliminate the Spurs in the 2000 play offs and hasn't forgotten his great play against the Lakers in the second round.

Everybody just seems to remember a 4-1 loss, but seems to forget how close some of those games were. IIRC Hardaway scored around 25ppg in that series.

Nowadays you're right. There's not much left of him. But just for him to work hard to get a chance to play again shows how much he loves the game.

Well if the mavs don't win, I'd root for the suns. Seeing Nash win a championship would be great. :)
