After watching Jerry Stackhouse lately, I have to say I'm sort of like him in a way...
I've always been a good shooter, and when I'm in shape and playing a lot, I can nail threes, shot jumpers, etc. I'm only 5'11'', but could almost dunk around when i was a senior in high school. I credit that to playing on 8-foot hoops for two summers and doing nothing but jumping as high as you can to either dunk on someone or block someone's dunk. That's all we did.
Anyways, I can drive pretty well and maybe not so much now, but when I was younger I had a knack for hitting crazy shots taking it to the hole.
But as I got older, maybe mid-20's...I realized my jumping gave me an edge over most guys my height and I learned the post-up game. I don't do well with drop steps and that kind of posting, but I can back someone down and then hit a fadeaway that they just can't stop. If you are my height...and I post you low and someone throws the ball in, 9 times out of 10, I'll turnaround on you and nail the shot.
I would love to say Kobe, because I see myself as a good defender too, but that would just be wrong. I can't stand him anyways
But Stackhouse is a good scorer, as I've always been, and can shoot from anywhere and also drive it to the hole. I don't know about his fadeaway though, that's the only think I'd take from Kobe, but I'd rather say it's more akin to Jordan
(also, I have insomnia right now, been sick almost a week it seems and I'm babbling...)
