Why "All You Haters" Threads?

What's the deal with "the haters" threads?

Cardinal fans seldom "hate" their own players or at least they shouldn't.

If you're disappointed then that's fine.

If you think they suck that's OK as well.

If you'd like to see them traded then that's cool.

Hate's a rather strong word and I seriously doubt that those that write negative comments about these players actually "hate" them.

Mine was a joke, just giving Sparky a hard time cause his "hating Wilson" thread was just so ridicoulous, especially the comments where he said the majority of people were against Wilson.

Every single time the word "hate" is mentioned (100.00%, every single time) in any post on any message board someone always mentions "hate is a strong word".

The predicability of this occurring is mind boggling. Since the history of time, there has yet to be a single occurrance when the word hate and the "hate is a strong word" response haven't been coupled together.
