Is he really better than LB?

Wish we had Boris and Raja right about now.

I think he will flourish with this new style.

Raja lost his defensive touch and can't create his own shot. He is toast

Diaw just didn't want to play behind Amare anymore.

I am still in favor of this trade, especially if Dudley gets more playing time.

LB may be a more difficult matchup, but JRich gives that big '2' defender that can physically matchup with some guys that LB cant guard. JRich also is younger than Raja and shoots very well from outside and runs better than Raja. JRich can also be used as a '3' playing with LB, Raja was not good playing at the '3'. Raja is fundamentally abetter defender, but he is really a bench player at this stage in his career. Diaw wasnt going to get enough touches to be effective in the porter slow down game, his loss will hopefully be mitigated by amundsens improvement. Diaws defense will be missed in the playoffs, IMO.

Also I believe Richardson had one year less on his contract than Diaw. How this effected the Suns financially in totality I'm not sure because Bell's contract was also involved in the trade.

Amen. We have not used that guy right since the day he got here.

Agree 100%.

Let him get out in space and run with these guys, that's how he was so effective with the Warriors. Its gonna be fun watching this team fly again with somebody that can dunk as well as he can.

Time to call a spade a spade.

LB had 24 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 5 steals in 28 minutes.

There's no way in hell J-Rich could put up those numbers. Especially since he plays with Shaq, and he tends to stand around and wait for Shaq to hit him for a three.

You still have to look at who we played.

You're nuts. J-Rich can certainly do that. LB's strength is coming off the bench and giving the team a much needed spark plug while the starters rest.

On a side note. Did you see all those nice passes LB made. He actually looked like he could regularly play PG tonight.

The only reason to not have traded for Richardson is if we end up trading Amare. If you keep Amare, you were wasting Diaw.

Oh and da_suns_fan isn't a troll. He has been here a long time and just picks and chooses where to post.

Raja clearly lost a step, especially on defense. Boris Diaw was either really lazy for couldn't fit in with the players on the court. I'm going with the latter

i'm still ok with the recent trade,
i think J-rich hasn't showed his true potential yet.

and oh,
for a guard,
he can post up a little.

The trade was still a good one, especially now that we're headed back to a running system.

Your crazy. JRich can drop those numbers if he is used correctly. It's not JRich's fault this team decided to bring him here and post him on the 3 point line.

JRich used to drive the hole and get to the FT line. JRich used to have plays called for him. JRich used to post up opposing players.

A player just doesn't all of the sudden stop doing things he did his entire career. This Suns have not utilized his strengths. He is averaging 16.7 PPG while not be utilized for his strenghts.

Imagine what this guy will do if the Suns every use him right.

Diaw shined when Amare was out,
Amare's comeback plus Shaq's addition made Diaw the odd man out.

he was like always very lazy coz of lack of playing time.
