In his 4 games this year he ran for 152yards, 110 yards, then 32 against Philly and had 97 today. He is a top 5 RB this year. I honestly think he really didnt want to play in AZ

How many really did?

I was at the game when he got hurt and some of the Cards fans started cheering (which made made me sick to my stomach and almost fought another Cards fan cause of it) and one of the O lineman after the game said to him ..Man we are on our own now. When 20,000 home team fans cheer when you get injured, Why would you want to play here?

Did not know about that but I was watching when they cheered when Kent Graham went down. That is really low class and I do not care who the player is or what team he is playing on.

Thomas Jones Sucks and is a bust. I wish I could create a magic little team, with McCown, Jones, Plummer and all these other guys who will continue to suck, that everybody loves, for some reason and continues to make excuses for them.

I was never a fan of TJ when he was with the Cardinals--he was easier to tackle than my grandmother--so the idea that I "love" the guy is wrong.

Seems to me this is more a case of "TJ-hating" than "TJ-loving." I think a lot of you still hold a grudge not only because he just didn't pan out here, but because everyone had such high hopes for him when we drafted him and he ended up being such a spectacular bust. Hey, I still hold a grudge, too. But it doesn't blind me to the fact that he's playing pretty good ball right now.

Samir: No one in this country can ever pronounce my name right. It's not that hard: Na-ee-ana-jaad. Nayanajaad.

Michael Bolton: Yeah, well at least your name isn't Michael Bolton.

Samir: You know there's nothing wrong with that name.

Michael Bolton: There was nothing wrong with it... until that no-talent butt clown became famous and started winning Grammys.

Samir: Hmm... well why don't you just go by Mike instead of Michael?

Michael Bolton: No way! Why should I change? He's the one who sucks.

Some folks think when he player leaves for any reason he automatically sucks. TJ and certainly Hearst played good ball after leaving AZ. Corey Cheavous is playing good ball. Our center who DG fired was playing excellent ball and sort of a team leader. How a guy plays with AZ is not much of an indication how he will play with a better team and a stadium full of screaming fans. Talent is talent and I wish these guy good luck in their new jobs except when they play us. There were many Rice sucks post when he left but he now wears a superbowl ring and was an all pro. Boston left and to this point does seem to suck but it is not over till it is over with a guy like him. Shelton surely does not suck and we are apparently going to trade him or something. He is actually going to be hard to replace even at RT as he is a good guy who can play a number of positions. He want suck just because he plays for another team.

Hasn't TJ had only one super game but averaged less than 3 yds a carry in the other 4? Same crap he showed here.

I am with Skorp.

I don't think this kid did anything spectacular last year, or the year before. I am sure he is not what Green wants in his back field.

TJ still thinks he is Barry Sanders, and still dances around instead of hitting the hole.

Peace

He must not have watched TJ too many games from last season. Jones was hitting the hole when it was there and he was also catching the ball out of the backfield at a great rate. 56 rec for 427 yards. If you notcied anything about last year, it was Jones had his best games at the first of the season with Rex Grossman at QB, and at the end of the season when Chad Huthcinson was starting and playing ok. The middle of the season when Jones struggled, he had Johnathan Quinn at QB. Now if you dont know who that is, your lucky. That guy has to be the worst QB I have ever seen play in the NFL. The 2 games, 3 if you count the game he had one carry and got hurt in, Jones missed came against maybe the weakest teams that the Bears faced all season. Jones will be okay and I believe if the Bears go WR with thier first pick and Grossman comes back and stays healthy then Jones might be putting up probowl type numbers. Also, if that happens, the Cards might be seeing the Bears in the playoffs. Their division is wide open.
