Why didn't we invite John Tait for a visit??

I mean...why not bring him in for a interview.....I would take him over Goff from the Bengals!!

How come it seems like we can run this team better than the whole Cardinals Oranization!!

I wouldn't be one bit surprised if we make a run at him.

1. his cost would be too high unless the Cards are going to hack at least one OL...and I don't think that is the plan yet. Goff is more affordable and play G (right?).

2. I presume the Cards would view FA to fill holes and even though the Cards OL underperformed last year, I am not sure they view OL as a pressing need.

Umm, isn't he in Miami right now? He is scheduled to visit Chicago tomorrow according to reports out of Chicago at least.

And the Dolphins are willing to offer him more money than the recently departed, to Houston, Todd Wade got today, which I am pretty damn sure is over the Cardinal's budget.

Well Tait is worth more money than Wade........and we have a heck of alot more money in our budget than Miami has left in their's.....if we did nothing else in FA, I'd kill to have him on our team at RT

We're not bringing in anybody that cost any money.How hard is that for people to see?Winfiled is only going to get a 10 mil signing bonus.Spread that over 5 years and he's costing us just over 2 mill a year whne you add in his base salary.If that's too much for the Cards to obtin a very good starting CB then that should tell you all you need to know about what kind of FA's to expect.

He will only cost 2 mill a year. What is does his contract look like 5 years 10 mill bonus and 50 dollars a year in base salary. He would be about 4-5 mill a year(2 mill for singing bonus, 2 for base salary).

And that is why the Dolphins would be willing to give Tait the same money Houston gave Wade , because they think Tait is worth that money But Wade was not. The Dolphins just dumped half their OL, so they do have some money to spend. Madison is a goner and that is $6mill.
