Bump.

It seems that some are questioning their fan-loyalty to the Cardinals right now.

I thought it would be a good idea to review what others have said...

If the Cards left, it wouldn't bother me as long as we got another team. I would probably still be a fan, in the extent that I have watched them for so long, but not like I am now.

What he said.

Well, I'm relatively new to the Valley via the Metro-Detroit area (5/12/02), my football loyalties have been with the Detroit Lions for practically my entire life...... But, I casually began to follow the Cardinals last season and have become somewhat fanatical about them this year..... At this rate, I wouldn't be shocked that in a few years all my loyalties will be with the Cardinals, regardess if they win or lose.. Guess then I would be a convert, a "born-again Cardinal fan" as you will.....

I wouldn't just say that I'm becoming more and more interested in this team because I relocated here and want to root for the "home team"...... The primary reason, as a Lion's fan, there's so many parallels between both franchises, it's unreal.... So, in that regard, I can fully empathize with the plight of the life-long Cardinals fan.......

I'm wondering though, how does one define being loyal to your team? That's the essential question.......

I moved to Chicago from North Carolina in 1944. I saw my first professional baseball game and football game the same year. the Cubs and the football Cardianls. I have remained a devoted and loyal fan ever since. The Cubs won the pennant the following year and the Cards were champs in 47 and it has been a struggle since. I cannot imagine rooting for anyone else.

What a weekend for me. The Cubs are 1/2 game out of lead and 2 out of wild card. The Arkansas Razorbacks beat Texas and have won three in a row and the Cards win over Greenbay.

By the way the Razorbacks have a 310 lb tight end who can catch the ball and block and a 363lb junior OL who is a projected 1st team All American. They also have a 6'5" Junior QB/widout who runs a 4.3. I think as QB he has run for over 100 yds twice this year. He is also a forward on the basketball team.
