Why Fitz?

I was half wrong I wanted Taylor who of course was murdered early in his career. But if we took a WR I preferred Roy Williams who started out well and then fell of a cliff. Clearly taking Fitz was the right pick at WR.

You can still argue we would have been better off taking a QB but Fitz has been brilliant.

I love Fitz..... And he is one of the greatest Cardinals ever.......I have his Jerseys and consider him one of my favorite players..... But I wanted to trade back & take Big Ben around 7-10 range.

I would still do it in a heartbeat. Even knowing what a major douche he is now.

I wanted to take him at 3 if I had to.

Some serious draft failures mentioned in this thread -- Robert Gallery, Charles Rogers, Mike Williams, Reggie Williams, Ryan Leaf, Michael Clayton, Jimmy Kennedy, Kenechi Udeze -- sometimes high draft picks don't quite work out, huh Bodha?!

Also, re-visiting threads like this is why people should think long and hard before writing off either of our young QBs.

Funny how the guy who ended up banned looks a lot smarter in hindsight than a few of the current regulars he was arguing with.

Did you know that people writing off young Cardinal QBs haven't been wrong since 1981.
