IndyCar's broadcast from Thermal was knocked off the air for a little more than 10 minutes due to an electrical issue in the production truck, the network posted on X.

The broadcast switched to NASCAR bonus coverage while working to return IndyCar to the air.

Penske Entertainment switched its media rights partner from NBC, which had handled broadcasts exclusively for six years, to Fox. The new deal put all 17 races on network television, a 50% increase in IndyCar's network TV time.

Our INDYCAR production truck has an electrical issue. We are working to get it fixed as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, we have NASCAR bonus coverage on FOX and FS1 until the INDYCAR truck is back online.
