Minter was a star in the last game. He's better than ever, and improving. Don't worry, the constant need some posters have to be wrong will continue, but he'll be a cog of our defense for some time to come.

I mean, if you really want to see slow and fat, I could post a selfie.

:lmao:

Hey, do you guys drive a Chevy - either an Equinox or a Traverse? Thought I saw you in the passenger seat and the wife behind the wheel with the youngest (assuming the other child was in the back seat) after the Rams' game in the lot just North of where the Brown lot buses pick people up (aka the Arena lot).

2 tackles for a LB, compared to 11 for Campbell on the line...

Maybe the reason minter only had 2 tackles was CC was cleaning alot up before it even got to 2nd level Imo he does miss in space but what thumper lb is great in space

Good point. I think Minter was right with/behind Campbell on the Cunningham tackle/fumble.

Minter MIGHT look like a better ILB, if he had someone like DWash playing along side. But he doesn't. And it doesn't look like he'll have one this year. It needs to be addressed this offseason.

It should've been addressed in the draft this season. Hopefully Keim stays the absolute hell away from drafting an OL in the first 4 rounds next year.

I don't think he's lazy. He's definitely not fat, he's in better shape than anybody here, he just doesn't have the genetics to be shredded like some of the other players. I definitely don't think it's cool to post personal type attacks about a player who goes out there and plays hard for his teammates every week. He seems like a good kid with his head on straight. To each his own I guess.
This. Really stupid thread...

Well we might need a RT because Massie could be lost via FA and Humphries may retain the nickname of knee deep. Plus the OC position needs to be upgraded for us to achieve that next level.

Having said that I want a LBer inside or out taken in Rd1 and I hope SK can maneuver our draft position to get value with our 1st rd pick and not simply take a LBer because we NEED one or two.

Minter showing how slow he really is today. Got exposed quite a bit

In reality, he does not have to be a sideline to sideline player but a tackler who is solid and he had some solid tackles today... the Dansbys and Washington type of LBs are hard to find and Minter is solid in a traditional mode for the position, but the Cards do not like to play traditional because we have no outside pass rushers with speed :)

Minter getting some national love... although no mention of him being slow or fat =D

This was a make-or-break year for Minter, a 2013 second-rounder who had struggled to get on the field during his first two seasons. Thrust into a starting role by the retirement of Larry Foote, now Minter’s inside linebackers coach, the LSU product has been excellent against the run and better than expected as a pass defender. It would have been reasonable to assume the Cardinals would use Sean Weatherspoon as a coverage linebacker and take Minter out for one of their many defensive backs in their sub-packages, but Weatherspoon has barely played and was a healthy scratch last week, while Minter has suited up for 88.9 percent of Arizona’s snaps.

Minter is currently tied for 7th in the league for Tackles for Loss.

While he doesn't have many "wow" plays, he's quietly been pretty solid for us and doing exactly what he was drafted to do.
