Seriously why not start LSH at RB? He is awesome off the edge and his returns proves he can run in traffic up the middle. If not a "start" he should be rotated in more often.

Because he can't pass protect.

Because he can't run the ball between the tackles (I don't know where you get the impression that because you can return kicks you can run between the tackles).

Because he's not as good as Beanie Wells.

LSH is seeing a lot of PT. I don't really need to see any more of him. If he were better running routes or getting open, he'd probably have more receptions.

He'd get killed. LSH doesn't have the physical makeup to take the pounding TH and Beanie do. That's why he runs the edges.

LSH is a scat back who if given 20+ carries would not last 4 games with all the physical beating he would take on his 175 lbs frame. Same reason San Diego refuses to use Darren Sproles as their primary back. Plus, his biggest asset to us is his kick return ability. Id rather him save his energy to put us in good field position (we need it these days).

He is a great change of pace back, however, I do not believe he can handle the "load".

I would like to see him get ten touches a game from the LOS.

I think the team would, too. That's about what he should get. But our offense hasn't been productive enough for any player to get 10 touches a game a lot of the time.

The median # of offensive plays in an NFL game this year is 404. The Cards have only run 329. Even among teams who have only played 6 games, the median number is nearly 50 plays more than the Cards have managed to run.

Holy Crap! That sure says a lot about this offense. Do they keep records on how many 3 and outs each team has. I bet we are on top or near the top in that.
