Think about it. The rest of the league (see Plummer in Denver) thinks that we are a horrible team and that even gifted players don't have a chance to consistently succeed in Arizona. I bet some coaches have looked back and watched that Seattle game at the beginning of last year and believe that Jones might just be stuck in the Cardinals Quagmire. I'm not saying high picks but maybe a sixth or seventh rounder.

The sad part is that I am not joking. The NFL appears to believe that we are that bad, which is apparent in Plummer's huge contract (though he is a good fit in Denver). I bet there are some NFL personell people out there that are slightly curious.

The only problem is if you go back to his rookie year most predictions I saw had him pegged as the most likely high first rounder to be a bust. At the time I thought it was Anti Cardinal bias, in hindsight maybe they knew something.

I still think he can play the problem is Shipp just is better.

Oh yeah, he will contribute somewhere else after he leaves Arizona, because like all of our cut players, they always decide to play harder after they leave (Darwin Walker I hate you).

I think that would be great move - if it could be pulled off.

Yes - of course they could predict the high ankle sprain suffered after the Seattle game, that basically cut his season short...
