And Andy Dalton had made like what, three pro bowls, Sam has made over 100 million in his career, and as I said one will always question if Sam will become injured, hence the training room.... nice, piss and vinegar way of saying I am right sport lol

As an injury replacement? BFD.

All the reason to NOT give up the farm this year to move up in the draft. Either Bradford turns into the next Warner/Palmer resurrection story, or we're set up for a much better pick next year.

With nary a QB prospect in sight in next year’s draft.

No he's not. He's in the training room or he's a rich man's Andy Dalton. In his "good" year in 2016 he was 16th in DVOA and 29th in QBR. They finished 8-8 and 3rd in the NFC North.

And it wasn't the fault of the defense, either. They were 6th in points and 3rd in yards. The checkdown artist completed 72% of his passes, but they were all at the line of scrimmage.

Yup. There’s no feast with even a healthy Bradford. Just a big ball of eh. A game manager extraordinare. Nothing more... literally ever.

Last season, Glennon was handed a boatload of $$$, and the Bears shocked the NFL world by trading up for Trubisky. All before he ever stepped on the turf. Could he be about to have a deja vu moment?

No. Glennon's the backup and wasn't handed a boatload of cash. Too much cash, yes; a boatload, no.

29th in QBR??

According to pro-football-reference, he was 6th in passer rating and 15th in QBR.

Oh, unless you un-check the box to "Hide non-qualifiers", in which case a bunch of guys who threw 1-10 passes jump to the top of the list, ahead of Tom Brady.

I was using Football Outsiders’ data: https://www.footballoutsiders.com/stats/qb2016

They adjust QBR for strength of opponent.

The question is, if the Vikes D was good, and Bradford was actually good, why did the Vikes come in third in the NFC North?

Strange - they also note that beginning in 2016, the "official" QBR was already being adjusted for strength of opponent - so, it's not obvious why the numbers are different.

The question is, if the Vikes D was good, and Bradford was actually good, why did the Vikes come in third in the NFC North?

That is indeed a good question. I notice that the D caused 12 turnovers in the first 5 games (all wins), but only 10 turnovers in the next 10 games. And the Vikings were dead last in rushing yards and yards per attempt.

It looks as though Bradford was efficient in 2016, but didn't take over games and carry the team on his back. I wouldn't expect him to do so with the Cardinals either, but hopefully with David Johnson leading a pretty good rushing and short passing game, an efficient Bradford will be good enough.

I have no understanding of what Wilks is saying putting this out here. It's like he has no understanding of where he is. What's the benefit of this? Corey Stringer DIED because of dumb stuff like this.

Don't you want to be entertained?
