When you read stuff like that, it makes you wonder if Bridges was just insisted upon by the nets as a way to handicap the team that Durant was being traded to. NBA and NHL owners can be so freaking petty.

I think they're hedging their bets that they'll meet the Suns again in a Final and wanted someone who at least not only helps as a body, but has knowledge of the team.
