Will the Texans game be blacked out in Phoenix or televised locally?

The bet will close at 12:30pm Thursday. If the NFL extends the deadline until Friday I will reopen the betting.

I apoligise for any confusion the last bet caused but this was my intent for the bet all along.

That doesnt sound like too many....I was expecting a lot more seats left. I can see the leauge giving us an extension..... I believe the Falcons playoff game had more seats left before the deadline.

Still over 1000 seats left, we will need an extension. If CBS doesnt buy the extra tickets it will be a black out. And there is doubt CBS will buy the extra tickets becuase this isnt a marque game and advertising is lower then normal for the game.

If we do recieve the extension it means we gave the NFL a plan they think will give us the sell out. 9 times out of 10 the NFL only gives an extension if they believe that plan will work.

I dont think CBS can buy the tickets due to leauge rules....

Actually they can and both them and Fox have done it several times as long as there isn't a ton of them available. Typically, they will buy them and donate to a local charity. It is a win win situation for everyone: the network gets to air the game locally and take advantage of advertising and the fans who cannot afford a ticket can watch the game Furthermore, don't count out a big Valley company to grab a handful. Leslie's Pools did that.

Leslie's Pools did that.

Pathetic(that it even needed to be done) however that was a playoff game. Not a regular season game when your team is 1-2 and 0-2 at home.

Not quite the same situation.

It will be a sellout period NFL doesn't just grant extensions unless they feel like it will sell out, plus the local affiliate will just pick up seats in order for broadcasting. Looks like lots of people gonna win big on this vbookie!

Betting has reopened until 12:30pm Friday or until something becomes official.

I am afraid there will be other games where a blackout could occur. Unfortunately, the stadium was built in the wrong location. I live east of 110th street in Scottsdale and gave up my season tickets because it is such a long drive to the stadium. I do not believe that I am alone in having the travel concern.

The drive is not that bad if I could afford season tickets this year the last thing that would keep me from being at every game is a little drive and I live in east mesa!

This isnt the Coyotes where they play at 7pm on a weekday. The commute on Sunday isnt that big of a deal. If you are a true fan, you would make the travel. My uncle lives in Fountain Hills and was a season ticket holder until last season (financial reasons forced him to sell).

As for me, I don't have to worry as I live 3 miles from the stadium. Dont have to touch the 101 to get there!! North on El Mirage, right on Glendale and I'm there! :)
