Williams=Manning a Card?

If Mike Williams does come out doesnt that make it more likely a team will trade w/SD and take Williams with the #1 pick, Oakland taking Fitz with the #2, meaning Manning could end up at #3 for the Cards?

Not really since its so deep in the skill position that some team might offer us to trade down.

I'm thinking the same thing. I think he'll go #1, and Oakland will grab Fitz leaving Manning falling to us.

I'm totally convince that Green won't take a QB. Someone will offer us a trade down the questions are who and will we trade down?

I think if Manning is there then the Cardinals will take him. I believe that Green has said nothing about Manning because there was virtually no chance that he would be there at #3.

That could change if Mike Williams enters the draft.

Jason and others. There seem to be three schools of thought regarding the Cardinals' draft strategy - all equally valid

1. They'll take a QB

2. They won't take a QB but stand pat and take Fitz or Taylor (or Mike Williams if he does, in fact, come out).

3. They'll trade down.

Most on this thread are assuming the Cards will open Door #1. And then, if they in fact do open Door #1, they'll take Manning.

I think Door #2, Door #3 and Roethlisberger over Manning are equally likely possibilities. So, Yes, Manning "could" end up at #3, but is nowhere near a lock to end up at #3 for the Cards.
